"Freak!" Shuichi got slammed against the lockers.
His head jamming into the lockets.
"Shit..." Shuichi mumbled and rubbed the back of his head with his palm.
He looked at his hand and a thin layer of blood covered his fingers.
"Seeya creep." A random 4th year said.
Him and his group walked away laughing
Shuichi slid down the lockers and sat on the floor
His eyes welled up and he put his head on his knees and hugged them to his chest
BRINNNGGG
The bell loudly rung as class doors slammed open and the hallways quickly started crowding
Shuichi got up wiping his eyes before grabbing his book bag off the ground and walking to the cafeteria.
He was trying to control his crying so he wouldn't look more weak but it didn't really work.
He sat down on one of the tables which were sitting on the stage of the café.
He didn't feel like getting lunch, theres only 2 more periods before dismissal anyways so he'll be fine.
Shuichi lifted his head up towards the rest of the room and he saw a small person hopping out of the way of the crowds and up the steps to the stage
Kokichi smiled and came over to hug him
"Hii!" Kokichi smiled sweetly before plopping down next to him
Shuichi smiled and scooted closer to him
"What you're not hungry? Why aren't you eating?" Kokichi asked him
"I dont like what they have today.." Shuichi shrugged
"Hm, ok then. You sure you dont want anything?? I can pay if you dont have money." He said
"Ouma i hope you know half of my family are million air's and you're living in a shelter i wouldn't let you pay for anything even if it ment the death of me." Shuichi said
"Just because im in a homeless shelter doesn't mean i have ¢3 in my bank account." He rolled his eyes sarcastically
"Still." Shuichi responded
Shuichi feels better knowing kokichi was there with him.
It's almost as if nothing happened.
Thats what Kokichi seems to do to Shuichi. He usually makes Shuichi forget about all the bad in his life. God what would he do without him.
He doesnt want to imagine it but, it usually slips his mind when he's alone.
BRINGGGG
Lunch was over.
"Hey wanna skip? i dont like my next block." Kokichi whispered so the teachers wouldn't hear
"Sure i dont mind" Shuichi agreed and the two boys walked out of the cafeteria.
They exited the school doors as if they were transitioning to one of the trailers outside of the school in the grass lot.
They looked around before running to the entrance of the school, their book bags bumping up and down while they ran.
They made it half way down the road away from the school and walked down the street while cars and people on bikes zoomed by them
Kokichi grabbed onto Shuichi's hand as they continued walking in the city
