Everleigh and Reggie watched Farkle cling to Cory's desk, their arms crossed across their chests. They really didn't understand why Farkle was afraid of playing baseball.
"No, No, No, No, No"
"Let go Farkle." Cory told his daughter's best friend. "It's only gym class."
"They throw things at me!"
"Who?!" Cory asked
"Maya!"
Thunder crashed outside the school as Reggie and Everleigh smirked in slight amusement.
"I'm the pitcher" Maya informed.
"They make me stand there in front of everybody!"
"He's the batter" Riley smiled.
"There's a guy behind me in a mask"
"That'd be the catcher sir" Lucas supplied
"And then somebody screams" Farkle said
"That's the umpire" Cory said as the group started to leave for gym.
"No that's me"
"I'm still not gonna write you a note, for gym class Farkle. It's softball, what could possibly go wrong in softball?"
Thunder crashed and lighting struck illuminating Maya with a smirk on her face.
After the thunder let up and the classroom was back to normal Farkle was clinging to Cory's back.
