"Why did the chicken cross the road?" Jade tried to joke as your face showed emotion. You sighed as you heard this dumb joke a million times but you didn't say anything as you didn't want jade to get annoyed.
"I have no idea"
"To get to the other side!" Jade said as she gave you a small smile. All you did was stare at her and gave her silence. She sighed and decided to try another joke.
"Knock knock"
You raise your eyebrow skeptically as you have a slight frown on your face. Today was horrible and jade has been trying to make you feel better ever since you told her why your day was so bad.
"Who's there?" You answered her.
"The interrupting cow"
"The inter-"
"MOOOOOOO!" Jade yelled out.
You stared at her with a blank expression until you started busted out laughing. Jade smiled in victory as she finally got you to smile. She would do absolutely anything to make you feel better. Even if it was stupid jokes.
