Jade west x fem!reader
Warnings: cussing, scary movies, and fluff :)
"Oh come on y/n! It's just one movie!" Jade argued with you as you whine. "I know but you know that I hate horror movies!" You said as you hid your face inside of jades neck. Her long finger nails coming up to scratch behind your neck as a way to help you relax.
"Don't worry babygirl. I won't let any monster or killer get my girl." Jade said softly as she brought you closer to her. You debated it for a few more seconds before you let out a quiet "yes". To which your girlfriend smiled down at you happily as she turned the tv on to find the new scissoring movie she's been dying to watch with you since it came out.
She clicked on the movie and paused it as she got up off her bed, heading to the door. You looked up at her skeptically and grabbed her arm. "Where are you going?" You asked confused. "I'm going to get us some snacks and drinks baby. I'll be right back. Don't miss me too much." She said with a wink and headed out the door to the kitchen.
She came back a few minutes later with a tray filled with snacks and some drinks. She sat the tray on the bed and climbed in beside you in the bed. You instantly got in her lap and cuddled up into her. She clicked resume and the movie started.
~ A hour and a half later ~
Your face was deep into your girlfriend's chest, shaking with fear as you were trying to hide from the scary things that popped up on the screen. Jade gently shook you on your shoulder to which you jumped slightly at the sudden contact. "Baby...? The movie is over. You can stop hiding now." She said to you with a gentle voice that she has reserved for you and for you only.
You looked up at her with a terrified expression plastered on your face and that made your girlfriend frown. She tucked a piece of your hair behind your ear. "I'm sorry baby. I didn't think it would scare you that bad."
"I-it's okay..." you stuttered as you laid your head on her chest again facing the wall. Jade puts her warm hand on your back and rubs circles gently to calm you. "No. It's not. My girlfriend is terrified and it's my fault. I shouldn't have let you seen it." She confessed while looking at me with dark but soft eyes.
You cracked up a smile as you knew that it was hard for jade to open up and be raw with her emotions, but she tried for you and that's all that mattered.
"It's okay. I have my super badass girlfriend to protect me." You said as you smiled up at her with pure love in your eyes.
