Esme pov

Me and uncle nik get out the car and see aunt Rebekah.
"What happened?" He asked as I hear wolfs.

I hate having enhanced hearing.
My hearing is better than my family and I can't figure out why.
I can hear the paws hitting the dirt but I also hear heavy breathing and footsteps that are stumbling.

"She's okay" I say and they look at me confused.
"She's alive I mean, I can hear her she's making her way back" I explain.
"How on earth can you hear that and we don't?" My aunt asked
"I don't know it's always been like that for me that's why I usually keep ear muffs on or play my music to drown out the sound of bugs and stuff from miles away" I hold myself as I look around.

Before anything else can be said Hayley comes threw the tree line.
I smirk at my aunt and uncle.
How dare they doubt me.

My phone dings and I see a text message from jay.
I smile but know I shouldn't text her right now.

"Your fully healed" "perks of being a werewolf remember" she sits down.

"Not that fast"

"It's the baby, your own baby healed you" I watch as a large smile is on Hayley face.
"Yeah that's great and all but what about my dad?" I asked with my arms folded.

Hayley smile drops.
I don't care.

"Well he will be returning back to us soon and all he wishes is that we take care of you and the baby and make sure his darling daughter is okay" I smile at that.

"Good can we go home I feel like I can sleep forever"

She stands up and starts to fall but klaus catch her.
The dramatics.
We walk to the car and get in.
I decided to text jay back.

"Me and you need to talk when we get home" my aunt said
"Okay" I responded.

I then fall asleep in the car.

I feel myself being picked up and know it's uncle nik.
He walks and lays me down on my bed and covers me and kiss my forehead and turn the lights off and close the door.

Hahah suckers I just didn't want to talk to aunt Rebekah.
I sorta knew what she wanted to talk about.

I get up and get dressed and pack a small bag and leave out the window.
I drop down and land safely.
Perks of being some weird hybrid child.

I walk some and find my best friend.
"Hey Reggie" I run and hug him.
"I missed you shortie" I pull away and hit him.
"Enough with the shortie" I glare at him.
"Not happening" he grabs my bag and we walk to his car.
"So what's the plan?" I asked.
He shrug and puts my stuff in the car "I don't know I just wanted to get away from mystic falls drama"

"I want to get away from family drama" I say to him as we get in the car.

"Why don't we runaway together" he suggested looking at me.
"WHAT?!, Reggie I might not like my family on some days but they need me, family is always and forever and plus my dad I can't leave him" he grabs my hand.
"It's not like it's forever"

"Reggie your 17" "almost 18" I roll my eyes "and I'm 13" "almost 14"

"That's not the point Reggie" I sigh.
"Just think about it" he said and I nod "fine, how about this we leave today and stay away for two weeks , it's like a vacation" I tell him "go idea so where would we go?" "Let's go to Korea I always wanted to go there" I look at him with wide eyes.

"Okay Korea it is" he smiles and push his hair back.

My family is so gonna kill me, my dad is not gonna be happy.
But I feel like I'm in for a adventure.
