Synopsis: Ninja invites the crew to do a tour at the clock factory again, much to their dismay, unbeknownst to the fact that Avi also has a deep fascination for clocks.

Author's Note: You will notice that some of Avi's lines are in slightly broken English. I have a document with her translations linked at the bottom of this page. Please scroll down to the end of this story and click on the "External Link" button as shown in the image below to access the document.

Mr. Pepperoni Man glanced out the window and let out a huge sigh, watching as the buildings and shops of downtown Bluefield passed by. Ninja had invited the crew to do yet another tour at the clock factory, and nobody was excited. The only reason everyone had come was because the new girl, Avi (or Iva, as everyone calls her...), hadn't ever gone yet, and they guessed that the least they could do was accompany her. Why Ninja kept bugging them about the clock factory every few weeks was beyond Mr. Pepperoni Man; he thought that they had made their perspective on going to the place rather clear last time after the incident, but he guessed the dude was just passionate about his interests.

The car was silent, aside from Ninja chatting about how fun the tour was going to be to Avi, who was in the seat beside him. Avi listened with only half an ear, occupied with staring out the window to look at the various structures and people the van drove past. Everyone else was either doing the same, or on their phones.

"After lunch, we'll be able to go on the tour that takes us even more in depth about how clocks are made!" Ninja was saying, as he shifted the vehicle over to the right lane.

"That sounds nice," Avi said, turning away from the window to adjust the radio volume. It was playing a soft, cheery tune that Mr. Pepperoni Man guessed was supposed to make them feel upbeat, but in fact, did nothing to turn the sour mood upside down. On the contrary, it was making everyone feel worse about the upcoming hours.

Chester yawned loudly from where he sat in between Mrs. Potato and Poop in the row just behind the driver's seat and passenger seat, where Ninja and Avi were, respectively. "Why don't we help Ninja out and tell Iva about what she's really getting herself into?" he said, in a highly obnoxious tone.

Mrs. Potato rolled his eyes while Banana laughed from where he sat in the row behind him. "Lighten up, Chester!" he said. "It's Iva's first time. It's not going to be bad. It's not going to be bad at all!"

"Thank you!" Ninja called from up front. "Someone gets me here. Besides, they got the factory fixed a long time ago. There's not going to be another incident where something explodes and one of us gets weird powers."

"I sure hope not," Mr. Grits muttered, while Sandy called out from the very back of the van, "That's not what we're worried about, Ninja."

"What do you mean?" Ninja asked. "What else is there to be concerned about?"
