2 months later...

Derek still knew something was wrong.

He knew Mae was lying when she said nothing was wrong, but for the life of him, he couldn't figure out the exact thing that was wrong.

He and Mae had been talking every night for the past two months and Mae was happy about that.

Mae had been looking for apartments, but she hasn't found one that is suitable for a baby.

Now that she's 8 months, she didn't want to be in the middle of moving and her water breaks so she was going to wait until after the baby was born to move.

Blake still has not changed.

He still treated Mae like she was garbage on the ground.

Mae was slowly starting to accept the fact that her husband was gone.

He was never going to change into the man she knew three years ago.

She needed to accept that and quickly.

Mae at an apartment complex looking at this beautiful apartment.

She fell in love with it.

"How soon do you want to move in Ms. Wilson?"

Mae cringed at that name.

"Well I'm 8 months pregnant so I was wondering if I could move in after I have the baby."

"Of course. I will go get the paper work and your keys."

After the realator left, Mae looked around some more.

She knew that this was her new life without Blake.

Mae knew no matter how long she stayed, Blake would probably never love her.

"Okay, here you go."

After signing a few papers, she left to go to Blake's house.

When she walked in, Jessica and Blake were having sex.

Usually it would bother her, but she was getting used to it.

Nobody should have to get used to seeing this everyday, but Mae was.

Of course it hurt her, but Blake never made any effort to hide his new relationship from her.

Blake, on the other hand, never wanted to hurt her as bad as he did.

He wants to talk to Mae, but she's always gone.

"Blake, I have to go."

Jessica told him while gathering her things.

"Okay see you tomorrow."

They kissed and she left.

Now he was all alone for the night.

Blake sat there and watched Mae walk to the kitchen and make her something to eat.

I miss her cooking, Blake thought.

Mae was making some ground beef for tacos, but she was making just enough for her.

Mae loved eating tacos and taco salad.

Once she was finished, she made her two tacos and went into her room.

The Next Day...

Today marked the day.

Today was the beginning of her 9th month of being pregnant.

Mae was so ready to get that baby out of her.
