I recognized the halls. My memories were all coming back to me slowly. She opened the door and I recognized the room, this was my room when I got here. The room they kept me in.
"Is she okay?" Bucky asked as Natasha stepped in before me.
"Talk to her, please?" She asked him.
She allowed me to step forward as she left the room and I saw the sorrow on his face, it looked like he had been crying. I don't understand. I just saw him a little bit ago and he was fine, why would he be crying all of a sudden.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Don't worry about me, are you okay? I saw the lights flickering, did you get overwhelmed? I told you to be patient with yourself." He reminded me.
"I'm fine," I replied. "I just saw more than I expected."
"How can I help?" He offered.
"I was dangerous. I was angry. We were fighting but then-" I paused for a moment wondering if he remembered these moments too. "You stopped fighting and I continued hurting you."
He looked surprised. "Do you have memories like this too?" I asked.
"Well, yes, only these are memories you weren't aware of." He explained. "They used to have me fight you after wiping but then they started wiping you behind our backs. The first time they did that always sticks in my mind. Whatever they did to wipe you was only temporary so after they ordered you to stop you could barely stand. I saw them put you back in cryo just to take you out minutes later to tend to my wounds. You had no memory of them, you were completely unaware of us fighting, they told you I got hurt on a mission."
Slowly my mind pieced it all together. I remember him telling me we fought and I remember telling him we didn't. It was all fuzzy but slowly I realized the situation.
"You never hurt me intentionally, you are not dangerous. They used you as a weapon because they're monsters like that." He reassured me. "Are you okay now? You'll be alright?" He asked.
I nodded my head. "Alright, can I take you to Dr. Banner to get checked on?" He asked. I was hesitant but knew he wouldn't let anything bad happen to me so I reluctantly agreed. "I'll stay by your side the whole time."
We left the room to see Natasha and Wanda waiting outside the door. "Are you okay now?" Wanda asked.
"She should be checked by Banner if she's okay with it." Natasha insisted.
"I'm taking her right now," Bucky replied. "She'll be alright."
