Afterwards, Wild/Sun gets healed by Comforting/Moon and they make the barn cats a home in the gorge. Using their magic, they make many paths and bridges that go up and down. This area is cloaked with some kind of linen that stretches out over the gorge. The cats have enough space that its basically a clan territory all on its own. Comforting and Wild live there, Wild works as a medicine cat helper, while Comforting is a den-dad who takes care of lost kits and the kits whose mothers cannot take care of them. He takes care of a few kits. Sugarcane/Kit, Poppy/Kit, Sandy/Kit, Basil/Kit, Sunny/Kit and Canyon/Kit. The last 3 are named after the three cats who died in the gorge.
