He bound together some light red carnations, vermillion roses, and white orchids for a customer.

All represent love and admiration. This person was lovesick, and they explained their partner is visiting after they have been absent for some months.

Tommy huffed lightly. He admired what measures people would take to show their loved ones how they admire them.

He already knew his friends admire him, yet he still felt empty.

Something was missing. He didn't know what.

He sighed, giving the customer the bouquet with gentle hands.

"Thank you. How much is it?"

Tommy hummed, counting the flowers used.

"10 Emeralds. It's a simple bouquet."

The customer nodded, handing Tommy the 10 emeralds.

He smiled, waving as they left.

Tommy looked down at the emeralds, finding only 9.

He dimmed. He shouldn't be so trusting.

The customer was long gone; there was no point chasing them now.

They were only flowers to some, but they meant more than that.

Especially to Tommy.

He blithely walked back to the flower-covered counter, sighing.

He sat on the chair behind it, crossing his arms and propping them onto the counter.

He rested his chin on his arms, blinking boredly outside the window.

Today was one of those days where Ranboo doesn't visit. Tommy knows that well enough.

He tilts his head to the side so he can rest his temple on his elbow.

Tommy waits a few minutes, averting his gaze to the flowers.

They seemed dull today, for some reason.

Huh. Maybe they knew how empty he felt this afternoon.

Tommy blinks towards the window once more, watching the sun begin to set.

The sunset was mesmerising. The hues of oranges and pinks all spreading throughout the land, soon dissipating and replaced with a restless deep navy.

The night was cool and cold, the day was warm and vibrant.

Tommy waited for the moon to rise.

He hums, burrowing his eyes into his arms.

He closes his eyes as he begins to dream.

"Hello?" Someone's voice rang out.

Tommy bristles, mentally groaning at being woken.

"Are you awake?" The voice asked once more.

Tommy flutters his eyes open, looking up.

A brunette wearing a beanie and yellow sweater was there.

They wore some fucking trench coat. As if that would keep them warm.

"Yes, I'm awake. Slow day and all. What are you looking for?" Tommy responds, his voice dry as of just waking up.

"Sorry I woke you, but do you have any flowers I could use to tell someone I really fucking hate them?"

Tommy snorted.

He rarely got any customers who wanted to express their hatred for someone.

He knew that this person was trying to find a way to simply say 'fuck you' to whomever the bouquet was for.

"Sure, uh, let me help you."

Tommy stood, pressing his hands away from the counter as he walked towards a batch of flowers.

He collected some flowers;

Geraniums meant stupidity,

Foxglove meant insincerity,

Meadowsweet for uselessness

Yellow carnations meant that you have disappointed me

And lastly, orange lilies (hatred).

The simple 'Fuck You' bouquet.

Tommy loved putting this together. It would always annoy the receiver, and usually brought end to relationships that included a cheater or so.

It was quite vibrant, and despite what it meant, it still looked beautiful.

"Here's the bouquet." Tommy smiled, giving the customer the bouquet.

The brunette blinked at the flowers for a few seconds.

"And it still looks beautiful. Huh." He huffed in amazement, furrowing his brows.

Tommy grinned, shrugging.

"How much is it?"

Tommy hummed, "8 emeralds."

The brunette nodded, unpocketing the emeralds.

They handed him the gems with a smile.

"Thanks!" Tommy nodded.

"No problem. If it isn't trouble, what is your name?"

Tommy slightly frowned.

He heard tales of fae, and he became paranoid with entrusting people with his name.

"Tommy." He smiled again, shaking hands with the taller brunette.

"You're quite short, aren't you, Tommy?" They smiled smugly.

Tommy sputtered.

"I- HEY! What the fuck is that supposed to mean?" Tommy yelled in defiance.

The brunette chuckled.

"You're just fucking tall, and that's unfair." Tommy crossed his arms, resting them upon his chest.

"I'm Wilbur. Nice to meet you, Tommy. I'll see you again some time."

And with a grin, the tall fucker left.

Tommy pouted.

People keep violating him using his height.

5'6 is tall! How is that short?
