From Now Eternally
In somber tones my breaking heart
did paint a song upon the sky
In each and every turning tide
I rode the melody
through a darkening night
In these shadows as I watched
your growing heart step aside
I remember feeling loss
for a life my own had never tried
Yet this music is no myth
Each notation and every bar
carries the story of admiration
and my love for all you are
I play it here and at times again
as years lead on uncertainly
for when you danced in its day
no better composition
could my soul play
nor from now eternally
