Such is the life of an adventurer

Wooden cabin, lanterns glow

Spreading orange hue to clear white snow

That must have sifted through the door

When the storm came blazing through

I press my nose to the window glass

Watch it splatter as it douses grass

And see the woodman lumberingly pass

The rocky path that stretches home

The snowcapped trees from the forest fling

By a giant hand, stretched like a string

As a girthed troll comes marching in

With a hammer in his hands

But in a chilly moment he began to quiver

The giant troll did a sort of shiver

What luck that I could make a new friend

In the middle of a gloomy storm

The fire crackles from inside, and the tea is brewing hot

But adventure calls from outside, chilling the steaming broth

A deer fox, some elves, some trollish friends, together we do a lot

Wherever I go, excitement follows, adventure's all I got.

Such, is the life of an adventurer...
