Silence

I hear you in the silence,

Your chattering is so loud,

I feel your words gathering,

Sticking to my back.

Your silence is so loud,

I hear you from afar,

Gossiping and tarring,

But believe who you choose.

The deafening silence,

The absence of words,

The noticeable way you now hide,

It is more noise than I imagined.

I am not asking for surety,

Just a little bit of honesty,

Don't suddenly sit in silence,

Don't pretend I am now dead.

I am the same person,

The same as before the truth,

The circumstances are changing,

But your silence has not.
