Valentine Heart Ache

On the day of February 14th, a very fine day, Ezekiel walks towards a flower shop hopping to find some flowers that would satisfy his lover, however as he walks inside the store he saw his partner, Lucas, holding a bouquet of flowers that consist of camillia, orchid and pink roses. Ezekiel had a smile plastered on his face as he made his way to his beloved, Lucas opened his arms but it wasn't for Ezekiel, his lover embraced a woman kissing her on the lips then giving her the bouquet of flowers. Ezekiel left the store in anger with a heart that ached because of the betrayal, as Lucas caught a glimpse of a hair white as snow. Lucas broke away from the kiss and stared at the door Ezekiel just walked out, "kiel?.." was all he could mumble 'oh god, nonono' he said to himself while walking towards the front door in a hurry, his heart beating so loudly, loud enough for him to hear.

He open the front door of the shop and was welcomed with people passing left and right, he quickly looked at his left and found no sight of certain white haired man, Lucas then snapped his head to looked at the left side and...

He saw him

He saw his lover

His beloved

His-

.....

He messed up, Lucas messed up

He ran towards Ezekiel who was already going inside his car, when he was only a few steps behind Ezekiel drove away, yet that didn't stop him from chasing the car

Yes indeed readers, Lucas chased the car until it stopped infront of a house.

The same house both Lucas and Ezekiel had shared with for three years now. Lucas opened the front door of the house panting heavily because of the running, he looked every room downstairs but didn't found Ezekiel so he proceeded to go upstairs, the second floor only had one room which is the master bedroom while the guest rooms are downstairs. Lucas took a deep breath before knocking,

[oh god his so shameless isn't he? showing his face to the lover he betrayed]

Lucas received no reply from his knock only hearing small muffled sounds of sobbing, his heart tighten and tears in his eyes started to form threatening to fall,

[He shouldn't feel this.... Why should he feel this way when it was him who was unfaithful to his lover]

Ezekiel rarely cries and when he does, Lucas was always there to comfort Kiel and then look for the reason why he cried, but now its different... Ezekiel, his beloved, is crying and its because of him, truly he never meant anything of this to happen, Lucas only wanted to help his family's company by agreeing an arrange marriage, and now Kiel is hurt because of it

[It was his decision, this is the result]

Lucas knocked at the door once again and just like before there was answer. He sat down on the floor on the side of the door waiting for Kiel to come out, surely Kiel would need to go outside,

Lucas waited and waited and waited... but Ezekiel never went out, Lucas panicked thinking Ezekiel had passed out, so he frantically knocked at the door while calling for Ezekiel. "Get lost" Kiel said from inside the room, he sounded so, so broken... and Lucas' heart tighten because of that, "Love please open the door.." Lucas tried to sound normal but despite that his voice cracked, he felt a lump in the throat and ignored the tears that was falling in his face

[How could he call him 'Love'? Truly shameless]

It took a few moments but what felt like an eternity before Ezekiel started unlocking the door, Lucas opened the door and saw Ezekiel walking towards the bed

He quickly stride towards the silver haired man hugging him from the back his arms wrapped around Ezekiel's torso while his head is buried in Kiels left shoulder 

"I'm sorry" Lucas said, "Im so sorry Love, I'm sorry, I- I didn't mean to, please...please forgive me, Im so sorr-"

"How long has it been" Ezekiel said cutting of Lucas

"Al-almost a year...Im so sorry.."

Ezekiel forcefully pushed away Lucas' hands and faced him, "Almost a year- You've been CHEATING on me for ALMOST A YEAR NOW?!" Ezekiel said angrily, tears silently falling down his face, he then put his hand to cover his face as he fell down on the floor kneeling while letting out sobs

Lucas also knelt infront of Ezekiel then hugging him, "Im so sorry mi amor, I-I im so so sorry...."

"Leave.. Lucas please leave..." Ezekiel said more of like whispered "Lets take a break..."

[He needs a break...]

"Lets break up..." Ezekiel said, the betrayal was too much, Kiel had sacrificed all for this love, he left his family to live with Lucas despite Ezekiel's family not approving of their relationship, yet after all of those he received betrayal out of all things.

Lucas' eyes widen by the sudden announcement made by Ezekiel and once again tears started falling to his face, he didn't want to... Lucas didn't want to break up with Ezekiel but he knew how much the silver haired is hurting,he hesitated but agreed

The next few hours were suffocating, Lucas couldn't look at Ezekiel because of his guilt while Ezekiel had already packed his belongings after calling his family. Ezekiel left without looking back at the house while Lucas stands in front door watching Kiel get inside his car and drove away as he whispered goodbye

[Not a single farewell could be heard from the white haired man]

Days become months and the two did not see each other anymore until Lucas had caught up with the news of Ezekiel leaving the country to go manage his fathers company in another continent while Lucas had told his parents about his problems and they tried to make it up to him by cancelling the engagement, though it took them some months annulling it.

[It's no use now]

Soon enough months turned years, and Ezekiel had returned to the country, both would sometimes cross paths but Ezekiel nor Lucas would talk, it was like they had become strangers to each other, and it has been like that for some years now.
