"Friend" Date

It's been about two weeks since the "big case". In all honesty, that was probably the easiest case i've been on. I keep thinking that it was too easy, like he let us catch him. Others have vocally thought the same as me. Tomorrow we're going to the prosecutors office to see if we can get some questions processed in order to fill in our missing pieces. Enough of work talk though. Beyoncé and I have gotten closer every since we were announced to be partners. I must say, that woman is dangerously gorgeous. I don't want to pursue anything with her because I don't know her for real. Maybe I should call her and see if she wants to go on a proper date.

*Opens phone to call Beyoncé
*Ring* *Ring* *Ring*

"Hey Onika, I'm shocked you called me"

"Hey, are you busy? I wanna go on a friend date with you"

"A friend date?" she said curiously

"Yes, are you busy?"

"Um no i'm just dropping something off to my sister then I'll be free. What time are you planning to go on this friend date?"

"Well it's 2 right now so around 7. I have a few errands to run and I want both of us to have time to get ready"

"7 sounds great, see you then"

"Bye bye"

I FINALLY made it home after running around for a few hours. I bought me something to wear for Beyoncé and I's little date. I didn't want it to be too sexy but then again I wanted to tease her. Yes, we are just friends but there's no harm in flirting.

"I have two hours to get ready. Oh shit, I didn't even tell her where we'll be going. Let me call her"

*Calls Beyoncé and waits for her to answer*

"Hey, I forgot to mention that we'll be going to a place called Little Italy. It's my treat so don't worry about paying for anything"

"Yeah I noticed you forgot to tell me that, but okay thanks. I'll see you there"

"Alright see you later"

*End of call*

When our call ended, I paced into the bathroom for a quick shower. I turned the water on and waited for it to get hot. After a few minutes, I hopped in and started bathing. I started with my Dove bar soap and bathed thoroughly. I then applied my exfoliant and treated every part of my body. Lastly, I bathed with my Cartier body wash. After I finished with my body, I then washed my face. I got out feeling very refreshed and clean. I looked at the time to see that it was 10 till 6. I hurried and dried off before putting a calm black dress. I put on a cape so I'll be able apply my makeup and do my hair. Since I had my natural hair out, all I did was apply some heat and loose curls. I did something real simple with my makeup and kept it moving. After I finished getting ready, I put on some vanilla scented perfume and grabbed a black LV purse and put on a pair of Jimmy Choo heels. I kept it simple with the jewelry. It was 7:00 when I checked the clock again. I figured I was going to be a little late, like always. I shot Beyoncé a text to let her know and she replied back that she'll be late as well.

I made it to the restaurant extremely late because of traffic. I went in and spotted Beyoncé at a table. When she noticed me she stood up and all I could say was "wow". She wore some black jeans, a white satin buttoned shirt, and silver heels. I was impressed because she dressed like a lil boy at work so this was new to me. We gave each other a hug as I walked closer.
