[ Guardian and Lord of Ashes ]

Wind was sitting within the children of the Churro Village watched them as they played along with their friends. All he hear is was kids laughing and yelling.
Chats around the adults and elderly and Churro himself near him.

Until he heard a horrified scream from one of the children.

"HELP!!!" One little villager yelled making the others shocked including Wind himself.

"What happend?!" He runs to the child and hugged them tight

"T-theres-a-monster and-and its-BURNING THE FOREST!"
The child yell making the others more scared and shocked.

"Churro, help the others i'll handle this"
"Be careful Guardian"Churro suggest.

Wind nodded and run among the panicking crowd and towards the forest. All he can see was burned out trees and ashes.
But there were more ashes than actual trees that was burned.

How..?

...

Maybe he didn't explore the disaster deep enough...

He ended up in the center of the forest and ready his bow to shoot whoever made this mess.
He hid among an old fallen tree act as a hiding spot, he reaches his quiver and he is ready to aim.

He shot the person but missed, due to the ashes blinding him eventually the arrow landed on a tree next to the person making it mad and yelled.

"Wha- HEY! SHOW YOURSELF!"

He sounded familiar but Wind decided to ignore it. Aimed and ready to shoot again he got up and facing the man.

"So it was you who shot me."
The figure said in a cold tone

"And it was you who burned the forest."
Wind said in a threating voice

"Well i tried to get more power but eh it was pointless anyway"
"To gain power? Alright enough of this and tell me who. You. Are."
Wind said aiming his bow to the man with a cold stare.

"Well. I am the Lord of Ashes"
"What?"
"People used to call me-

-Fire Spirit"

Wind couldn't believe it, he was Fire Spirit.
He points his bow lower thinking its actually him, but no. He couldn't believe it.

"I already told you i had enough of this nonsense. Tell me who you really are!"
"... maybe i still can do it"
"Wha? WHOA-"

Fire-wait...Ash.
Then let out a weak fire ball and aimed it to the archer.

It was a trick Fire showed Wind to impress him. Wind was suprised but it didn't do the wonders of making him shocked.
This one surely do

"What...in the?"
"Remember that archer?"
"I-impossible..."
"Weird, this shocked you more than ever. Now that i realized you change you're looks too"

"But...y-you died?!"

"What?"

"You. Died. And i...wasn't there to save you..."
"Well im not dead but i do sure feel like it."
"And you look way different than i remember."
"Same to you too. You're back to normal. I guess thats good?"
"What do you mean im back to normal?"
"...nevermind im just tired of this."

Ash then layed down in the grass making a ash bed underneath him.
The guardian was there still in disbelief but realived he is back but...he is not the Fire he knew.
He was just a flaming ball of nothing than energy now he is just, a pile of Ash...radiate nothing but negative energy same as darkness

"So...that means you survived?"
"I wont say like that way but kind of? Also if you meant the where i 'died' yeahhhh, i dont know any of that."
"But Sea and Moon saw you just lying there...no longer flaming and-"

Ash only clicked his tounge groaning.

"Why would you care all of the sudden?"
Ash decided to speak up in a clear annoyance in his tone.

That words hit Winds heart like his own arrows. How desprate Fire was when Wind left him?
Clearly, Wind could felt he is drowning in all of his own guilt...hence Ash well...

If Wind didn't care about him
Why would he care him back?
It all going to be pointless in some way

"But n-now i care"

"..."

"F-fire?"

"For a starter, my name is Ash archer, and again-

Ash stood up and levitating to Wind. Looking at the somehow scared guardian.

-i know you better. You. Don't. Care. And thats that."

That hit Wind even more.

Wind may be cold and 'heartless'
And that only Ash know. He know Raven.
But surely Fire don't...
But this is Ash not Fire...

"Im s-so sorry...Ash."
Wind said with a hint of sadness
"So i-i guess this goodbye.
...again."

When the archer's ready to go back to the village, he felt a pull at his arm.

It was Ash.

"Ok listen. You can't cry infront of me archer"

When Wind turn to look around a hand placed within his cheek wiping the tears off. Wind immediately felt touched starved but cried more with out his knowing.

"Wind..."
"Y-yeah?"
"I said no crying" Ash said laughed
"I-im so sorry Ash..." Wind sniffed
"You know what?"
"Huh...?"
"You can call me Fire this time archer"
"S-sure F-fire" Wind said clearly still crying.

"You're crying again"
"I-im just so happy n-now" Wind crying and laughed.

Both laughed eventually
Wind still find the old flaming Fire deep within Ashes heart...

Infact...Ash felt warmth in his heart.

I hope Churro wont ask me too many question why i was so long gone...
