( Haruto POV...)
“H-huh? What d-do you mean?”
I was really startled,did Hayato also notice something? I never really saw Hayato this serious
“Im saying this because im worried about niichan,but distance yourself abit from them,their still potential suspects”
I sighed as i also sat up and nodded
“I know,i thought about that too”
“I watched the news this morning,how the last two m*rders were practically the same,having their head crushed and doing it in the middle of the night”
“Mm..”
I listened carefully to what Hayato was saying and retracked my memories to get some clues
“I feel wrong saying this,but Yuno-san and Akira-san always act weird towards you,how they are overly affectionate and overly protective,there basically trying to keep people away from you so they can have you all to themselves”
“I-i noticed that too..”
“You mustve thought it was protection huh niichan.. well if it was me i would’ve thought too,since they were basically the first people who got along with me”
“Enn..”
“And niichan..i wasnt planning on telling you this but..”
“But what?”
I looked at him as he somehow hesitated before sighing as he pulled out something from his pocket
“I was very suspicious of them,so when you were at school i walked around your room with the lights off and found cameras planted all around”
He gave me a total of 7 cameras he found as i widened my eyes
‘There wasnt anyone that can do that except for them’
“I smashed them completely so dont worry it isnt working anymore”
“A-ah..its like last time...”
“Last time?”
“Yeah..someone entered my room and planted cameras too..He also..kissed me in the forehead before going out the veranda..”
“*widened eyes* What!?”
“I havent told anyone yet..”
“Why didnt you tell anyone!?”
He was already gripping my shoulders while looking at me with worried eyes
“I didnt..know who to..tell..”
“Niichan! All the people here care about your well being! Why didnt you tell anyone!?”
“I was scared!”
“Well it would be more scary if you dont tell anyone about your burdens!”
“Im sorry!”
We were practically screaming at each other as Hayato sighed and let go of my shoulders
“I’ll tell uncle Nanami later,since ill be joining you starting next week we’ll have to think of a way to distance you from them..”
“..yes..”
“I’ll sleep on my room tonight so you can arrange your thoughts niichan”
He said,kissing my cheeks as he stood up and walked towards the door
“Goodnight”
“Mm”
He walked out of my room as i slumped in my bed and covered myself with the big dovet,deep in thought...
“I cant...”
They are very close to me and i hold them dear,i cant even grasp in my mind that there is a chance that there the suspect if the m*rder case that is happening right now
Tho i already thought about it alot i really cant...
And so that night,i fell asleep with alot in mind...
( 3rd person POV....)
“I’ll be going now Hayato! *smiles*”
“Yeah! Bye niichan!”
Hayato waved his hands in the air as Haruto giggled at his cute cousins gesture as he entered the car and drive off
After the car disappeared and the gates closed,Hayato stood straight there in his spot with a blank face as if his expression earlier was all just an illusion
“U-uhm Young master?”
Tesh,a maid,asked Hayato what was wrong as she noticed that Hayato was just standing there without moving
“Nothing”
Hayato replied before walking away as he went back to his room
“Whats wrong with him today..?”
Tesh mumbled to herself as she and the other servants noticed Hayato acting weird today....
“Ugh those peasants!”
Hayato threw his body in his bed as he started punching the pillow angrily
“It really was weird when they were here! Niichan why did you even—ugh!!”
He had the suspections ever since he first saw the two who were acting weirdly when Haruto was around
Like the time they were all left together in the living room,Hayato coukd quickly tell the sudden change of attitude after his niichan left
The both of them turned quite and the air around them felt cold as Akira continued eating the cookies but with a blank face,and Yuno was just staring into space blankly
Hayato felt confused,but when his niichan came back,their old aloof attitude were back and they kept bickering while Hayato looks at them suspiciously
Of course he himself was like that,but that was because he was used to his niichans attention all to himself,and since the both of them were only childs Hayato liked that and was protective of his naive niichan
“Telling uncle Nanami was the best choice”
Since Nanami has been with his niichan ever since he was a baby, Nanami was basically his second father
“He was so shock last night he didnt know what to do..*lowly chuckles*”
( memories of last night )
After leaving Harutos room, Hayato instructed one of the servants to go and call Nanami and bring him to his room to have some private talk...
“Yes?”
Nanami entered his room as Hayato looked at him with a blank face
“Sit down uncle,we have some things to discuss”
“Hm? Okay..”
Like the rest of the servants,Nanami was also confused at how Hayato was acting
“So..look here”
Hayato pulled out the broken cameras he found..
