If there's one thing you should know about me, it's that I love books. Here are some of my favourite books and authors...

Cassandra Clare - Shadowhunters series

If you haven't already, you have to check out her books.

The shadowhunters series is just 👌. In other words, AMAZING!

I think you're supposed to start with City of Bones, the first book in The Mortal Instruments series.

There's a Netflix series based on the books called The Mortal Instruments.

Just a word of advice, I would definitely read The Mortal Instruments series first (first book,  City of Bones). The Infernal Devices series (first book, Clockwork Angel) in my opinion should also be read before you read The Last Hours series (first book, Chain of Gold) because of the chronological order (events in The Infernal Devices happen before events in The Last Hours, which basically follows their descendants).

Sorry if this is confusing!!

Sarah J Maas - Throne of Glass series

This is one of my favourite series of all time. Some of the books aren't suitable for younger readers though, there is a bit of a mature theme...

If you are going to read them, I strongly suggest starting with the prequel The Assassin's Blade instead of skipping straight to the first book, Throne of Glass. While it may seem random and irrelevant, nearly everything that happens in the prequel will be mentioned later on. I promise it's worth it!

There are 8 books total including the prequel and they're pretty long. Happy reading!

Lynette Noni - The Medoran Chronicles

I absolutely LOVE these books, and I highly recommend them. The first book in the series is Akarnae.
