"I'm nothing like her!" She yelled at her father.

"Yes you are! Sneaking in at night drunk! Do you think I'm dumb?! I'm not fucking blind! I can tell you're hurting and you're coping like she did. You see where she's at now? Please. Please stop." Her dad yelled

"I'M NOTHING LIKE MY MOTHER! FUCK YOU!" She yelled

"DAMMIT! She use to do this! She would drink and drink until she passed out on the couch. She would drink and throw her bottles around. She would get mad when someone confronted her about her drinking problem. You are her. Vinnie left because he couldn't handle you doing this to yourself! He fucking loved you and you- you were so mean." Her father said

"I am not an alcoholic! Dad please stop saying I'm like her." She slid down the wall crying.
"I am not mom." She cried into her hands.
"I am not mom."
"I am not mom."
"I am not mom."

"Y/n" Her dad cried
"Please get help. I can't handle this life without you." He cried
"I miss mom dad." She whispered crying
"I know sweetie I do too. All the time. But you can't do this or you'll end up like her." He said

She never got sober. She had tried calling Vinnie that night. She texted him saying how she was gonna get sober. She lied.

She was only 17 and her life was over.

"Vinnie would you like to say a few words?"
"Yeah."

"Um she was- she was just a kid man. She was an amazing friend and being in love with her was so hard. I never told her and I regret that everyday. I really wanted her to get better." Vinnie cried a little. "She was my best-friend. She was my- little detective. She'll always be missed."

"Now her father will say a few words."

"She was an amazing daughter and if I could have changed the past I would have tried harder to help her. I wish she would have gotten better. I- I can't do this. I have to watch my daughter get buried. It should be me." He cried

He stood back beside Vinnie.

Now it was two years later and she was suppose to be 19. It was her birthday today. Her father couldn't handle today. He had started drinking after she died. He Od on OxyContin on her 19th birthday.
A few months later her brother committed suicide. He couldn't take it anymore. He had no one. His dad was dead, his only sibling was dead, his mom was dead, his grandparents were dead.

Their house had many words spray painted on it. Vinnie still came to their house. He cleaned off the spray paint every few months.

Alcoholic! Was in the drive way.
And many other things.
There was a note on the door that said 'they're all better off dead anyway.'.
That broke him into pieces. He kept going for her, her dad, her brother and her mother. The ones that tried their hardest to overcome the pain.
