Closure + Ending Scenes!!

God. Every once in awhile I will log into here and see floods of notifications on this fanfiction. It's reached 585K Reads (at the time of writing this). 

Honestly, it's been eating at me for years to update this. And I always thought that one day I would have the motivation to do so. But honestly, I don't even remember the plot. 

This was something I started in middle school. When I was like... what? 14? 15? Something like that. 

Point is. God I've matured waaaaay past this story. I love it though, it's dear to me for the sole reason that you all read it and cared about it. 

ANYWAYS Not what we're here for. I can't promise more chapters. Or anything. Hey, maybe one day I'll re-write it. But... 

What I can promise is an outline for how it was going to go. It's not as good, there were definitely some plot holes that I was going to work out later- but this is as good as I can give you all. I hope you can accept it.

AHEM. Outline starts here

As a recap: The Reader, was on their final run of the Danganronpa V3 game. If they didn't complete it "properly", then the game would be forever deleted in the real world like it had been before. 

After the events of the first trial (thus being Kaede committing suicide to save everyone from the time-limit) you bond with Rantaro your closest ally in the previous runs. However... he kills K1BO. 

From here on out, people are less suspicious of you than they were in previous runs. Particularly because of how beat up you've been about Rantaro's death. They sort of take pity on you, (think Kaito coming to Shuichi after Kaede's death). Which helps you bond and solidify yourself within the group. 

You're absolutely paranoid though. The game is not progressing how the original did, and you're not sure how you're meant to survive it. So you play it safe, making friends with people- finally feeling a bit better about it all. 

Chapter 3's murder was going to be a double murder, as usual. However: It's Angie and Korekiyo. Essentially, Korekiyo killed Angie- however Himiko saw this and got into a fit of rage and killed Korekiyo on likely sheer accident. 

However, because of the Danganronpa v3 rule where only the first murder counts, Himiko is spared. Trauma tho fr fr. 

However, every action has an equal reaction. Sparing one life- means putting another at danger. 

You began to cough up blood. How could it be? How could you be sick with Kaito's illness? It didn't make sense- this never happened before...! 

You had no clue, but knowing that you had a timer only made you more desperate.

Chapter 4's murder was also going to be a double murder, where the victims were Gonta and Miu. Much like in the original game, Kokichi and Gonta made an "alliance" to end the killing game, only this time- Ryoma was a part of it as well. Having been there to witness the "outside world motive". 

As a result, Ryoma agrees to kill Gonta to end the game, taking on the burden of "murder" in this scenario. However, in a twist of fate, Miu was also found dead- only... in the library? Near the secret room nonetheless? Something was off here and you knew it, Rantaro had died here in the original game after Tsumugi killed him. 

Ryoma admits to killing Gonta, but insists he didn't kill Miu. No one has any conclusive evidence as to what Miu was doing in the secret room, nor do they know who killed her. But since Gonta died first, and only the first murder matters- Ryoma is executed. 

Chapter 5: 

Having questions about who killed Miu- and running on a timer due to suddenly having Kaito's illness, you wonder if there's a possibility that you can speed up the game. You have to live to the end, so if you could speed things up... 

Thinking that everyone right after the fourth trial would be going to bed, you took this time to pay one quick visit to the female bathroom, where the other exit is. You wouldn't go to the exit, no no you wouldn't do any of that- just a walk in there, and a walk out- 

Only the second you do walk in, you're attacked by Tsumugi. Dodging, you try to escape to outside of the bathroom, only to get hit with both a sudden wave of illness... and someone crashing in to save you. 

Unfortunately. It's Kokichi. You know- the guy who killed you on numerous occasions. You would've had decent amount of interactions with him by now, but never on such a level like before. Not that it mattered in this moment because TSUMUGI JUST TRIED TO KILL YOU??? What was going on here??? 

Kokichi sets off an electrobomb, and asks you what's going on. All you can really rasp out is that you're sure Tsumugi is the mastermind. And for once, he believes you. It doesn't take long for an exisal to come bursting in, attacking Tsumugi- but only to the point where she's unconscious. 

Kokichi frowns, lamenting about how he didn't want to do this this soon- and that you owed him one. And so he asks you to kill Tsumugi. As a fail-safe. If she was truly the mastermind, killing her should end the killing game. But he doubted that, so he created a different plan as a backup.

A plan that would undermine the killing game in it's entirety. Creating a wrong vote. If you were to kill Tsumugi, and Kokichi took the blame and got executed for it- then you revealed the truth afterwards, well... 

Then the killing game would've been wrong. And it would have to be cancelled right? You doubted it, you didn't even want to do it- but Kokichi drank the poison and threw the antidote away. Saying: he was going to die anyways, so the least you could do was make it useful. So begrudgingly you agree. 

And the plan goes off without a hitch. Kokichi dies. You're saddened by it, but also- this way... the fifth trial was done so soon after the fourth trial that you might live, even with Kaito's illness striking at you. Everyone finds out about the plan, to which Monokuma gets pissed off at. Especially when you provide proof of it. 

The place begins to crumble due to Monokuma (more likely the danganronpa production committee), and Monokuma says that the only way to escape is if they hold one last class trial, where they expose all the secrets, and who was really behind this. Which got you confused because you swore it was Tsumugi??? 

Authors note here: Sorry guys this part is where it gets REALLY messy cuz. I had nothing planned for this final trial beyond a few of the basics. Those being:
