Chapter 37

You woke up right as the morning announcement played. Which meant you were late. Later than usually at least. Maybe it was cause of the coffee, but you had spent a good portion of the night just contemplating what Tsumugi wanted you to see, as well as reliving the satisfaction of slamming the door in her face.

"Serves you right!" You shouted, all pumped up.

You rushed to the dining hall, not wanting to miss anything. As you opened the door you could already see chaos unfolding.

"We have Atua's blessing! So we are going to start establishing some rules here!" You heard Angie's voice echoed throught the dining hall. You facepalmed, Right, I forgot I have to deal with a crazy cultist today.

"Ah...(Y/N) slept in today?" Rantaro greeted you as you slipped in the back to avoid the cross fire between Kaito and Angie.

"A bit," You said sheepishly, "So what's going on?"

"Angie's student council blocked the manhole to the underground."

You opened you eyes in mock shock, "Oh wow? They did?"

Rantaro nodded his head, "Pretty much everyone is upset, besides the student council members of course."

"Who's apart of it?"

"Angie of course, along with Tsumugi, Keebo, Gonta..." You nodded your head as Rantaro listed the first four, it was like the original game. "And Kokichi."

You almost spat out the water you were drinking, "Kokichi?!" you looked to where the student council members were standing together, and sure enough the Ultimate Supreme Leader was apart of them.

"We've also decided on who to use the Necronomicon on!" Angie announced, "We decided that we are going to use it on Himiko! As she is the only one who is the least dangerous. Isn't that splendid Tenko?"

Your gaze moved towards Tenko, she looked visibly conflicted, as if she didn't know how to think about Himiko's potential revival. Although, the silence was short lived as you saw a fire almost spark in her eyes, "No. It's not." Tenko spoke up, "You shouldn't be using the Necronomicon in the first place! It's a motive by Monokuma! And no matter what, not even Himiko would want to be revived into this horrifying situation again! It's torture to be put in here! Let her rest!"

You stood up, feeling the need to support Tenko, "You heard her Angie, so give up the Necronomicon. Also, stop with this student council shit. We're going to do what we like, no matter what. So don't get in the way."

"Nyahaha! Of course you would say that! You want the killing game to continue! You killed Maki after all!" Angie taunted, "Not even Atua can save your soul!"

"That's enough!" Kaito shouted.

"Angie this has gone too far!" Shuichi exclaimed.

"Rise and Shine Ursine!" The remaining monokubs announced as they entered.

"ARE YOU ALL FIGHTING?" Monodam questioned

You rolled your eyes as you listened to Momota to and Monophanie defend the group. Even though you knew they would hand the flashback light to Angie, only for it to be broken, you didn't make any notion to stop them.

If there's one smart thing Angie did... it was breaking those flashback lights.

"We could've found out about the funeral! Or the Ultimate Hunt!" Shuichi shouted in anger. Various cries from the others, supporting Shuichi.

"That's enough." Rantaro said, stopping the chaos, "More importantly when do you plan to do the trial?"

"Well... I'll be preparing it today and tomorrow, but tomorrow night I'll be preforming it."
