Peace is an Illusion

Peace is overrated in some context

Just as Stan Lee and Marvel

But peace is a lot more

Than aliens, science fiction and marshmallows

Into the space it flows unsmooth

Banging up a lot of genres, rebels and sub-tropes

Oscillating through the chaotic mirrors that peek

Into the seemingly endless cycle of upkeep

Peace isn't hard, just so you know

Upholding it, takes a hell lotta ego

With hands stretched afar

It gathers the shattered pieces of war

Making humanity whole again

Peace wasn't founded in a day.
