The class was finally over, and it was time for them all to go home.
However, right now the way was blocked by many students who were standing at the door.
"What is your business with our class?" asked Iida as Bakugo just walked to the crowd.
"They are here to scout competition," he said.
"No benefit in doing that extras, now get out of my way," Bakugo said with a scowl.
"DON'T CALL PEOPLE EXTRAS JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW THEM!" yelled Iida from behind.
"I came here to see what class 1A is like, but you all seem pretty arrogant," came a voice as a purple-haired boy stepped out of the crowd.
"Are all the students in the hero course like that?" he asked and Ochako, Iida, and Kaminari from behind shook their heads, panicking.
"Something like this makes me disillusioned. A lot of people enrolled in General studies and other courses because they couldn't pass the entrance examination. Did you know that?" asked the person. The school has left us a chance. Depending on the results of the festival, they will consider our enrollment, and they might transfer some out," Shinso said with a smirk.
"Scouting competition? I came here to say that don't get too comfortable in your seat, or we'll just swipe it from beneath your feet."
"HEY HEY HEY! I AM FROM CLASS B NEXT DOOR! I HEARD YOU FOUGHT VILLAINS SO I WANTED TO HEAR ABOUT IT! DON'T GET FULL OF YOURSELVES!" another silver-haired person said.
The next moment, they all felt a crushing aura that scared the shit out of everyone. They turned to see Izuku standing there.
"I've had enough of you all's bullshit. Don't get full of yourself? You think we'll get full of ourselves because we almost died? Did you ever fall on your head in your childhood, or are you just born stupid?" asked Izuku as he slowly walked towards the crowd.
"And you."
He proceeded to point at Shinso, who took a step back due to the fierceness in his gaze.
"Tch. You came here cribbing about how people in general courses and others didn't get admission so we shouldn't get cocky. Well, you really think that even though you didn't beat us in the entrance exam you can beat us in this?" asked Izuku.
"The entrance exam was unfair," said Shinso with gritted teeth.
"And a girl in our class is invisible while the robots had infrared so her thermal condition could be noticed. She managed to get in fighting quirkless, then so can you. How about instead of whining about it to us you use your time to train and then actually beat us? Without the power to back it up, those are just empty words. Take it from someone who has been quirkless till 10 months ago," said Izuku as the scared crowd parted from in front of him.
"You say don't get comfortable? Well, I will get comfortable. Hell, I will openly challenge everyone here, come at me with all you got. And now get the hell out of here and focus on your own training, because if you want to survive as a hero, you need to be the best or you'll be killed. Hate me, like me, as long as you stand in my way I won't show any mercy. Join in becoming the greatest, then we'll talk."
With that, Izuku walked away, Bakugo walking behind and Ochako rushing after him.
Tetsutetsu was just crying at Izuku's manliness while mentally berating him for thinking that while Shinso reflected on Izuku's words.
'He is speaking the truth. I can't just blame the hero course students for getting in, I need to prove myself,' he thought as he started walking away.
"Hey," Izuku called from behind.
