In The End [Tom x Reader]

☆Chapter Four☆

If [Y/N] had to take a guess at what time it currently was, she'd say around the early hours of the morning, 5:00am maybe? The weather outside was still unpleasant, rain pattering down heavily against the windows, wind thrashing through the trees and bushes.
Edd, Matt and Tord were fast asleep still, somehow through the noisy weather, [Y/N] still layed on the sofa with the Tom (Arms remaining tangled around eachother keeping them close).
The two of them had been like that for a long while, barely any words had been exchanged, content with the comforting silence they'd been sharing for the past few hours.

Tom shifted beneath the blanket, causing the other to lift their head from the crook of his neck, eyes looking up to see him staring straight back down at them. [Y/N] couldn't think of anything to say or do, the kiss that they had shared not so long ago still lingered in her head; playing on a loop over and over again. She knew Tom was wasted when it happened, he still was, but that didn't deter the girl from believing that it actually meant something; not just to her but to him aswell. Now that the girl thought back on it, thought a little deeper, she came to the realization that Tom was always affectionate and considerate to her when he was intoxicated (Not to any of the others).

Now that could be just because he is that type of drunk, he's just sort of random with his emotions and doesn't stick to one in particular; which honestly was a rather big possibility. However, [Y/N] wanted to stick to her belief that it was because he really did reciprocate the feelings she held for him, she had to cling to that hope that after all this time Tom returned the love.

"[Y/N]" His soft, sleepy voice spoke. The girl wasn't expecting him to speak, they had been laying in silence for so long.

"Y-Yes?" Stuttering her reply, [Y/N] shifted a little bit, almost falling off the edge of the sofa. She had no idea what he was going to say or if he planned on another kiss, nervousness shrouded her body at the situation and possibilities.

"You should be sleeping, I'll help you."
He sounded concerned, catching [Y/N] off guard, she was not thinking about sleeping and it was a tad odd for him to suddenly care about it.

"What do you-" The girl then felt a hand rest itself ontop of her head, fingers tangling themselves in [H/L] [H/C] hair.
Massaging her scalp with skill, almost like he had done this a thosuand times before. Almost instantly, it appeared to be working it's magic, drowsiness taking over the girl as her head gently fell onto Tom's chest. Sleep quickly consumed [Y/N], the last thing she heard was Tom humming softly, hoping that he too, would be taken by sleep.

Morning came with the sun trying to peek through the drawn curtains, the room was still mostly dark thankfully when [Y/N] slowly opened their eyes.
A few seconds of adjusting to the uncomfortable headache that plagued her head, the gir blinked a few times before glancing around the room. Everyone else had vanished including Tom, moving to sit up she shot a hand up to her forhead, the throbbing continued to cause pain and discomfort. This was by far the worst hangover the girl had recieved and as far she could remember, she didn't even drink that much to begin with. Curse Edd for handing her all of those shots he cooked up in the kitchen, they were more than likely the culprit for such a hideous headache.

Throwing the blanket off her tired, aching body, [Y/N] arose to her feet albeit with a wobble. What she wanted more than anything right now was a nice hot, bubbly bath and maybe a cup of coffee to power through the day.
Just to relax in her own company, shake off the hangover, feel fresh and clean.
Moments of the prior night speckled in her mind, images here and there, but mostly it was all a blur. Walking in to the see over kitchen, a note had been left on the side, picking it up [Y/N] knew it was Edd's handwriting immediately.
