Today I was barrel I hadn't seen see sense we found out I was pregnant my last official time seeing him.
Dee's mom said dee always wanted his funeral to be formal like a ball, a celebration of him passing over to the other side .
She said he didn't want anyone to be sad at his funeral "so shed no tears crybaby." I imagined dee saying. his death was a celebration to him being release from this cruel cruel world.
But it wasn't his time somebody took his life from him and I knew exactly who , but revenge later funeral now that was all that was on my mind I would get my get back from Sin cause I knew he was man who did it
Go to the police ? No I had a rage in me that built up that needed to be released.
An Eye For An Eye.
I wore a tightly fitted black dress with transparent ruffled long sleeves and a pair of black laced heels

Securing my lace on my shoes and spraying perfume I took a look in the mirror and took a deep breath
I then walked down stairs where I saw a few of dee's relatives along with his mom
"You look beautiful leilani." His mom said
"Thank you Ms.Miller so do you." I said smiling at her
She wore a long sleeved black dress that had a slit in the middle showing her cleavage paired with a silver belt.
"This must be her." I turned around hearing the voice it was a girl who looked like dee but a girl version
"Hi , I'm Gia but everyone calls me Gigi I'm tae's sister it's nice to meet you ." She said giving me a small smile
(If y'all need a reference to Gigi , go back to my face claim.)
"Hi , I'm sorry we had to meet this way." I said frowning
"It's okay tae talked about you so much." Gigi said
"If you don't mind me asking why have I never seen you before ?" I said
"Cause girl my momma wanted to ship me off and send me to an all girls school but now I'm back for sentimental purposes for a while." She said
"Okay now that y'all done chatted it up we finna head on over there." Dee's mom said
"Ma , how you gone be late to the funeral and you hosting it plus it's yo son." Gigi said
"Girl shut that shit up I already been over there... I just had to come back to pick up leilani." His mom said sounding like she was making an excuse
I completely understood where she was coming from couldn't take looking at her son in the state he was in this wasn't like a slip and fall and get up like when he was younger no he got hurt so bad this time he couldn't get up.
We had finally arrived at the funeral and the outside of the church was huge it was a beautiful building

Slowly I walked in the church slowly my pace with each step as I approached my seat vividly seeing Dee's body I couldn't do it.. I just couldn't.
I felt a hand grab me on both sides seeing it was Gigi and Dee's mom I was going to be strong for both of them.
We sat and heard many great stories of dee as a child and how he was growing up and of course we laughed a little but when the time came to view the body I froze till I finally got up and my feet moved on their own I owed him this.
I continued walking and finally I made it, there he was... dead lifeless it didn't even look like him at all not one bit
When I saw Deontae he was never not smiling .. I placed my hand on his and rubbed his cheek gently
"You didn't deserve this love." I said planting a kiss on his forehead
As tears ran down my face I grabbed a small matte black box from my purse and opened it , it held a locket I had got custom made which read "no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love." Inside was a picture of me and dee.
I took the locket and placed in Dee's hand closing it I wiped my tears once again.
"We love you Deontae." I said referring to me and our bundle of joy growing inside of me
I then walked away to sit down passing by many people I heard my name faintly but I payed it no mind I was zoned out and I couldn't think straight tears flowed down my face and stained my cheeks
Memories from that night played in my head along with memories I had with Dee - - -
"Thank you uhh what's your name." I said
"My name is Deontae but everybody call me Tae or Dee." He said handing me my stuff
If I could turn back time I would. - - -
"Hey Dee aren't you supposed to be in class?" I said giving him a nice smile
"Well damn good morning to you to leilani. Why you worried bout me ? Lemme find out." He said looking me up and down - - - "Ewwww you all sweaty." I said backing up
"Girl you sweaty too I seen you cheering for me." He said thumping my forehead
"Yeah yeah whatever take yo sweaty behind on." I said smiling
"MHMMMMMM" Ari and Amora said at the same time
"I told y'all countless times that's my bestie guys." - - - "Dee I already told you I don't like people buying things for me I can buy them myself." I said
"You like these." He ignored me - - - "Even if you tell me whatever the fuck you finna tell me I lied because I'm not leaving you alone." Dee said wrapping his free hand around my waist - - - "Okay dee I love you." I said
"I love you too leilani." He said
"It should've been me instead." I said only above a whisper
"Leilani what are you still doing here everybody left and went to the barrel ground." GiGi said
"I'm not going to the barrel ground." I said getting on my phone to call an Uber
