Anemo Archon [Part 3]

''Venti'' You blurted out. 

''Haah...haah.. Why'd you run off like that...'' Paimon caught up to you while catching her breath.

''Oh come on Paimon, If you see a dragon would you just walk like you're visiting the park?'' You retorted, smirking very faintly.

"Wh-Wha- HEY!''

''Shh.'' You stopped Paimon from making any noise as you approached the blue dragon.

Hiding behind a tree with Paimon, you look at the familiar bard talking to the dragon.

''Don't be afraid...It's alright now....I'm back.''

''Is he talking...to a Dragon?'' 

Seconds later, particles suddenly flew outside your body. And as expected, the dragon sensed the Anemo energy coming out of you and became aggressive roaring at the clueless bard. Jumping away from the dragon as it flew away in rage. The bard looked in your direction.

''Who's there?!'' The bard asked.

Before he can teleport away you blurted out a name that you knew he wouldn't ignore.

''Wait!''

''Venti!''

He stopped his escape attempt and looked at you with a surprised face.

''You...how did you know that name...''He said gently as he approached the  both of you.

Paimon flew behind your back as if she's scared of the approaching bard. ''He just talked to the dragon, how did you know him?'' She placed her hand on your shoulder as a support.

''He...he's an old friend.'' You said with a gentle smile.

''Do you...remember me?'' The bard looked very confused with your words. When he stopped in front of you examining your face he widened his eyes.

''You...You're not the person you are supposed to be.'' As if he knew that you're not the ''Traveler'' he smiled and disappeared with a blink of an eye.

Stunned by his words, you stared into the thin air. Maybe this is a mistake. I shouldn't have called him like that. I thought that maybe he'd understand. Was I wrong? Did he knew the traveler before? Shit. 

''What was that!'' Paimon flew in front of you as she examined the place. '' He's your friend? Does he know you? Why did he say that?'' The little flying guide bombarded you with questions you can't answer.

''M-Maybe I was mistaken...I think my memory is playing tricks on me haha.'' You faked a laughed scratching the back of your head. You pointed at the red floating orb 5 meters away from you and Paimon trying to change the subject.

''Hey look, what is that?'' 

''Woah! What is that?!'' Paimon flew near the orb as you followed sighing in relief.

''Meet me at the The Symbol of Mondstadt's Hero, just call me by that name and I'll be there.''  You heard a familiar voice inside your head. Your spirit immediately brightens. I knew it. I knew he could help me.

Paimon asked you to keep the orb for now and explained everything just as the story goes. 

''Earlier you looked REALLY down when the bard looking guy didn't recognized you, why do you look so happy now?'' Paimon asked as both of you exits the forest.

You just hummed and shrugged her question. 

''There is not a single song I do not know, whether it be the past, present, or future"  You remembered this certain phrase from the bard when you were playing the game. You thought that if someone can help you, its definitely Venti.

As you get closer to the bridge of Mondstadt. You heard a shout from a distance. You smiled.

"Stop right there!''

The outrider.

Okay that'll be it for today, I just got really excited writing this story but I would probably update 3-6 times in a week. Thank you for checking out this story!
