oh my god. Its really her! Amber! My first ever character! You got excited like a child, your eyes beaming with expectation.
''I am Amber outrider for the Knights of Favonious.'' Placing her hand on her chest standing firmly to show that she is some type of a Knight protecting the area.
''You don't look like citizens of Mondstadt. Explain yourselves!''
Everything went as the story goes, you said everything as you were supposed to say. You decided that you shouldn't interfere with the story a lot to avoid unexpected situations. You want everything to go as you remembered it.
Amber decided to help you put up posters about your missing [b/s] all over the city, but first you need to help her do something you've never done before.
''Oh, A hilichurl!'' Paimon exclaimed pointing at the unusual creature wearing a huge mask holding a wooden looking bat.

''Quick! Get it!'' Amber said as she ran towards the hilichurl.
You hesitated. Part of it was because you were scared, but mostly because you knew what they are. Or to be exact, What they were before.
''Come on Traveler! Lets help Amber!'' Your little guide grabbed you by your hands and dragged you near the creature.
Wait. No. I don't want to hurt anyone.
As you get near the unusual creature you panicked and grabbed your sword from your side.
Do I even know how to use this sword?!
Amber was positioned behind you as a support aiming her arrow at the hilichurl. Firing one of her arrows the hilichurl was enraged.
''Mi kundala yo!''The hilichurl screamed loudly running towards you waving his bat.
You felt your heart ready to jump off your body and leave you alone to save itself.
Gripping on your dull blade as the creature approached you.
''[name]!!'' Paimon called out to you as she quickly flew towards Amber to ask for her help.
Fortunately, your body moved on its own as a survival extinct.
Your body swiftly dodged the hilichurls attack, raising your sword and slashing into the hilichurls head. It seemed like all you need was a single slash for it to die. Well, no one would survive if they're head was cut off.
Shaking, your whole body was shaking. No, you were not feeling fear. You were disgusted, you just killed a person. Letting go of your sword you stared at you hand, then looked at Paimon and Amber who's showing concern in their faces.
''[Name], what's wrong? Are you hurt?'' Paimon asked with a worried expression flying towards you examining your body for wounds.
''I killed a person...'' You murmured.
''Don't worry Traveler! Those were creatures of the abyss! They don't have any consciousness or any intellectual abilities!'' Amber walked towards you picking up the dull blade that is on the ground.
You looked at Amber with a horrified expression. Of course you don't know anything. These poor people turned into monsters that is not capable of communicating, how would they know?
Then again, it is out of your control. You can't do anything but do what Traveler is supposed to do.
-------------------Flashback--------------------
After finishing the recent Archon Quest you sighed in disbelief clicking the menu to pause the game.
So all this time we've been killing humans that was turned into monsters? Damn
But regardless of the guilt you were feeling for killing hilichurls for EXP and primogems, you did not thought of it as anything special as it was just a game.
------------------Back to present------------------
Explaining to your worried friends that you were just shocked after cutting the head of the Hilichurl, the three of you went towards a camp of Hilichurl to eliminate them from the area.
I'm sorry...
You felt guilt, with an apologetic expression you slashed every hilichurl in the camp.
After eliminating the Hilichurls, everything went exactly as the story goes.
And as promised, The outrider lead the way to the City of Freedom.
Mondstadt, the City of Freedom.
