Chapter 20: The Big Day

Vlad glared at Cerim while he did as well while Emma and I went inside and asked if I wanted anything but I refused then went to the kitchen to serve some lemonade and her trail mix then came back to the table and I thanked and said, "so what is it that you wanted to talk about?" she took a sip of her drink and replied, "I've had weird dreams recently and seen strange beings but I'm not sure if they are real I'm going insane" I took a sip of my drink and asked if she could describe these beings I wasn't sure if she had the same ability like mine then she answered, "See that guy outside with white hair and lavender eyes" I nodded then she continued, "I realized that he's a Vampire Knight are you common with beings like Vlad?" I looked at her and replied, "Yes. That guy you see outside with light blue hair and green eyes his name is Cerim and he's my Vampire Knight" Emma stood there quiet then said, "Have you experienced him being possessive and well you know...pervy?" I rolled my eyes and said, "Yes. don't worry Vampire Knights are like that...anyway, I got some great news" Emma's eyes widened with excitement, and said, "I'm listening" while she took another sip of her lemonade then I said, "I'm engaged" then she cheered and replied, "oh my! Really? Who is the lucky guy? What does he look like? What's his name?" I let out a sigh and took a deep breath saying, "well...I think you may know him...I don't want to hurt your feelings...but it's Zane" Emma got concerned than excited again saying, "Zane...the idol Zane?!"I nodded a bit disappointed but it seems I didn't break her heart she jumped and hugged and congratulated me.

I was a bit surprised but relieved at the same time that it didn't break her heart, then she said, "I'm so happy for you...so when is the ceremony?" then I replied, "it's tomorrow..." Emma became serious but excited then said, "well what are we waiting for its time to buy a wedding dress...and makeovers...Eden, you and I are going shopping today and right now" I got a little shocked but said nothing then she went to get a credit card saying, "I have this credit card in case of emergencies...this is one" she took it then her bag and grabbed my arm and dragged me out of her house and went to the mall. A few hours later, we came back obviously with Cerim and Vlad since they are our "bodyguards" I was surprised knowing the fact that we had everything and I had to admit Emma had a good taste for wedding supplies and dresses then she said, "That was fun wasn't it?" I let out a sigh then threw myself on the couch replying, "And exhausting..." she chuckled and agreed with me.

I checked the time then said, "Oh my goodness! It's very late Zane must be worried" we hugged each other while she ordered me to come back tomorrow first thing in the morning to get ready for the ceremony. On the way, it was dark outside so I stayed alert but I was beginning to sense someone following us but I didn't pay much attention then someone was about to attack us, luckily, Cerim sensed it coming then said, "Stacia look out!" he pulled me to him as I shrieked but it didn't affect us than four figures appeared the first one had, red eyes and purple hair, the second, black hair, and golden eyes, the third, light orange hair and silver eyes, and the last one had, dark brown hair and orange eyes I couldn't tell if they were vampires but one thing I was sure is that they looked like other beings from another gloomy realm we were surrounded as they tried to attack us but Cerim attacked back then they gave up and left we stood they're confused but I didn't pay much attention since I was exhausted then we walked inside my house then Cerim went with Tigress to report what just happened.

Zane was waiting for me on the sofa, I arrived with him while he set down the book on the small table next to him then stood up and placed his hands on top of my shoulders saying, "Evening honey, was everything alright?" I wrapped my arms around him answering, "Evening, yes I apologize for taking long did Jaelyn behave herself?" he nodded in agreement replying, "Yes, she was a little angel like always she's in sleepy town already...you must be exhausted" I yawned and kissed his cheek then he said, "come on, let's get some sleep" we walked to my room, I changed, and began to brush my hair while Zane began to get close once he was he wrapped his arms around my waist holding me close then he layed me down as we both chuckled and said our goodnights and went to sleep. The next day, it was 8:53 am then woke up but couldn't move since Zane had me trapped in his arms I smiled then hugged him and tried to get away but he just pulled me closer I chuckled once again and was able to free myself without waking him then looked at the calendar and realized it was Sunday which meant the ceremony was today so I got up and changed then went to the kitchen and began to cook then Tigress came down and greeted me saying, "ready for your big day?" I greeted her back and answered, "Yes. But I'm a little nervous...time passed so quickly I almost forgot the ceremony was today...after breakfast, I'm leaving for Emma's to get ready...I'm sure Zane as well at one of his dude's house..." Tigress agreed while I cooked some eggs then Jaelyn came running and hugged my legs I chuckled and hugged her back.
