Chapter 21: New Life

He pulled me closer to him and said, "I will always be your Vampire Knight. No matter what happens... I will always be here to protect you" I looked at his green eyes blushing lightly then he smiled softly but pulled me close to his body while I felt his breath on my neck as he leaned closer to me. At that moment, he wrapped his other arm around my waist then he stroked my neck with his finger as I felt a shiver down my spine then he said, "your skin is so soft" then I felt his warm tongue lick my neck I began to blush uncontrollably then he grazed his fangs against my skin at that moment, I felt a strong pierce that bit my veins, " Cerim!" I yelped as I felt his sharp fangs against my veins as he drank my blood lovingly pulling me close to him but I just hoped that Zane doesn't get the wrong idea Cerim and I are just childhood best friends and we felt a strong connection between us I didn't care how many times he bit me because I trusted him with my heart even if he is a vampire.

A few minutes later, he pulled away wiping the blood from his lips saying, "Your blood has changed, I guess it's by your awakening" after that, Zane came in and realized there weren't any chores than faced Cerim and said, "Thanks for helping her, Cerim." he smiled softly saying, "We are family. So we stick together." Zane then replied, "That's right." Cerim locked at us then smiled walking outside to guard the house with Tigresses' help, then Zane wrapped his arms around my waist and saw a new fang mark and let out a worried sigh saying, "He bit you again, didn't he?'' I held my neck replying, "Yeah. But it doesn't matter, I trust him with my heart even if he's a vampire" he understood and replied, "Oh okay, what do you want to do?'' I thought a moment then got exhausted looking at him saying, "Well...I'm a little tired why don't we go and relax?" he smiled kissing my cheek replying, "Sure, honey. I don't mind at all, I'm a little tired too." we kissed then went to check on Tommy and Jaelyn it seems, they got exhausted after lunch and took a nap we smiled and left to our room.

The clock striked 7:00 pm, which meant we two hours and a half before the night out with Emma and Vlad, we entered then I brushed my hair, while Zane checked his suit for dinner when he finished, he faced me and I placed the brush back on the nightstand then faced Zane with an innocent look then he smiled and layed down with me while I looked at his light blue eyes and he said, "Stacia...I promise I'll be the best father I can be with our children" smiled placing my hands on top of his head replying, "I know you will...don't have to remind me... if we are soulmates it's for a reason am I right?" he placed a hand on my cheek then he replied, "Ever since we were reborned, I knew that you and I were meant for one another, but we had to find out in a matter of time, and we finally regained our memories" I then replied, "I know...same here" he kissed me then I wrapped my arms around him and we stayed their relaxing.

We both fell asleep since after the ceremony we were pretty exhausted and of course by the chores and lunch. The clock striked 8:00 pm and we woke up at the same time then I realized my hair was loose and Zane shirtless but I didn't mind it was a hot day after all, and I asked, "What time is it?" then Zane stretched his arms in the air and placed them around my waist again then said, "I think it's 8:00 pm " then I said, "We better get ready, boy that nap was necessary" he agreed with me then kissed me then we stood up and began to get ready for the night out with Emma and Vlad, Zane took a shower and changed into his suit as I did as well after I finished my shower I realized he was struggling with his tie, I chuckled and said, "Zane, come here." he faced me and walked to my direction and I fixed his tie and walked him to the mirror saying, "see" he chuckled a bit embarrassed saying, "heh...my bad..." I chuckled again and we looked at each other then I said, "You look stunning Zane." he smiled thanking me, and replied, "You look lovely yourself" I thanked him as well, and we arrived downstairs with Tommy and Jaelyn and they were playing with Tigress.
