Chapter 17. Valley Fest

After Brooke left the Witmore Dance Academy LA, she and Mason arrived at Valley Fest. The sun was slowly starting to set and the twins gently pushed their way through the crowd, and found their friends.

"Hey Nicki, Sophie!" Brooke smiled as she hugged her best friends

"Hi!" Nicki and Sophie said as they embraced their best friend

"Hey babe." Mason said as he and Sophie shared a kiss. "Hey honey." Sophie said.

"Where's Landon?" Brooke asked

"He's with Amanda and your mom." Nicki said as the group of friends walked to the LaRusso Auto Booth.

"Hey mom and aunt Amanda." Brooke and Mason said

"Hi sweetheart." Missie said as she pulled her children in for a hug. "Hi girls." she smiled as she embraced Nicki and Sophie

"Hi darlings." Amanda smiled.

"Hi Missie and Amanda." Nicki and Sophie smiled

"Hey babe." Landon said as he wrapped his arms around Brooke. "Hey hon." Brooke said as she kissed his jaw.

"Where's uncle Daniel?" Mason asked as he kept his arm around Sophie's waist, also looking around for Daniel

Amanda sighed. "Oh well, I made a joke about putting on a karate show for one of the show cases and he took it seriously. Literally."

The group of friends shook their heads and chuckled then Amanda looked at Brooke. "Honey, there have been a couple of singers that signed up. You should dance in the show case." Amanda suggested

"Oh I don't know." Brooke said. "I don't even have a costume." She was wearing a crop top and under armour running shorts

"Honey, you don't need a costume to dance." Missie reassured. "Do one of your old acrobatic routines."

"I mean, I guess it will be okay." Brooke said

An hour had passed. When it was night fall Kyla and Travis had arrived and it was time for Brooke's dance. After her dance was announced, her music began, which was Madonna's Material Girl, and one of her favorite songs, she came out and did a front aerial, as she continued to do her dance, she did all of her old acrobatic routines, including a hand spring, and handstand. Then when she did her chin, chest, and elbow stands, it made the crowd go wild. When she was finished with her dance, she exited the stage.

"You were absolutely amazing!" Nicki said as she embraced her best friend

"Thanks." Brooke smiled

"Honey, you were wonderful." Missie smiled as she embraced her daughter

"Thanks mom." Brooke smiled

After Brooke was congratulated by her friends and family, the announcer stood on the stage. "Coming up next, do I have a treat for you. Please direct your attention to the LaRusso Auto booth for a presentation from Miyagi-Do Karate." she announced as she pointed to the booth

The lights dimmed, and the only light that could be seen was that of the light coming from the booth. The silhouettes of Robby, Sam, and Daniel were the only things you could see against the orange light that was projected onto the Miyagi Do symbol. The three bowed to the crowd before they got into their stances.

The three did the kata, that Missie recognized Mr. Miyagi teaching both her and Daniel years ago. She saw they were moving in perfect rhythm of each other.
