"Why don't you go get the kids, Harry? We're going to do some karaoke," Sirius suggested as Remus comforted Molly over the boggart she had failed to conquer."Uh— Yeah. Sure thing," Harry said, taking his eyes off Molly. "Where are they?"
"Don't know. I saw the Weasleys and Hermione leave a while ago..." Sirius answered.
"Oh. I'll go look for them, I guess," Harry murmured, exiting the room and going off in search of the other kids. He came to a halt outside of the girls' room, where cheers and music were heard. He knocked.
"Keep going," Hermione instructed. A moment later, she opened the door. "Hi, Harry," she greeted, opening the door further to reveal Ginny and Fred absolutely killing it in Just Dance. George, Tonks, and Penny were cheering them on. "We were going to invite you, but we didn't know where you went... Are Ron and (Y/n) with you?" She stood on her tiptoes as though expecting to see the other two.
"Not in here?" Harry asked, doing the same for Hermione: Ron and (Y/n) were nowhere to be seen. "Might still be downstairs?" he tried half-heartedly. "Anyways, they're doing karaoke downstairs if that sounds like fun."
"They're doing karaoke downstairs!" Hermione repeated to the others.
"Are they?" Ginny asked. "Tell (Y/n) I've got dibs on doing a duet with her first."
"What? That isn't fair," Fred protested.
"Yeah, first to ask is the first to go," George agreed.
"Whatever," Ginny sang.
"Oy, kids—" James cut himself off. "Oh. You've already found them, Haz." He counted each of them. "One of the gingers is missing... So is (Y/n)."
"Ron," they all said.
"Yes... Ron," James said, his eyes on the TV, where Just Dance was still going on.
"Are they downstairs already?" Harry asked expectantly.
"I wouldn't have called them missing if they were," James answered.
"Oh," Harry murmured. James shot him a look of amusement. After Fred and Ginny's game, they all headed off in search of Ron and (Y/n) before finally heading down for the basement.
"Anything?" James asked as he entered last.
"Anything of what?" Remus asked.
"Ron and (Y/n) aren't upstairs," James said. Molly choked.
"Not in his room?" she asked. Harry shook his head.
"Not a room in this house," Harry said. "...unless they're with Buckbeak, but I doubt it. (Y/n) would've come out if she heard our calls."
"Unless she's ignoring us," Tonks added keenly.
"No, no. (Y/n) never ignores," Lily said. The kids exchanged looks. (Y/n) did in fact ignore people quite often. "Let's go looking for them, I guess... They've got to be somewhere inside, obviously. No one wants to be outside when it's raining..."
"I don't think we know the same (Y/n), Lily," Remus mused.
"You reckon they're outside, Remus?" Lily said.
"Perhaps."
"Then why don't you go check?"
"I'm very fine staying dry, thanks..."
Lily hummed in acknowledgement as she entered the drawing-room with Remus. Regulus was there, peering out the window. "You like the rain too, Reg?" Lily asked, pecking Regulus' lips as she came up to him.
