"Y/N, what the fuck!" He huffs. "Don't point that shit at me."

Rolling your eyes, you put the safety back on your weapon before placing it down on the tv stand.

"Then don't come here unannounced." You spit back. "You never answered my question. How the fuck did you find me?"

Walking into your bedroom, you quickly remove the skin-tight leather dress and throw on an oversized t-shirt, waiting for his response.

"It wasn't that hard. Bonnie. I literally made your fake ID. Wasn't that difficult." He retorts, standing up from the chair to walk closer to you. "Next time, give your bro a heads up, Kay? I was worried sick."

You and your mother lived next door to Eita's family. Since diapers, the two of you have been inseparable.

You don't remember much of your childhood. All you do know is all the times you remember being truly happy, Eita was around.

Tragedy struck at the age of nine. You and your mother took the train home late one night. A simple robbery turned homicide.

And all you remember is the pool of blood surrounding you and your tiny hands refusing to let your mother go.

Policeman, adults, everyone tried to unlatch you, but all you did was scream harder.

"I'm here, Y/N." You heard a little boy's vice yell through the police line.

Running at full speed, you reached for his hand and never let go.

His parents raised you after your mother's death. The hole in your heart probably will never be mended. But Eita and his family reminded you every day that you weren't alone.

It didn't matter if you weren't blood-related. In your eyes, Eita is your brother.

Your nosy, overprotective, younger brother, who butts in your business every chance he gets.

"What this I hear about you working for the feds now?" He asks.

"Who snitched? No wonder you found me so quickly."

Eita is skilled with technology. Fake IDs, hacking, tracking. You have no doubt he would have found you, eventually.

"What's the case? How're the leads?"

"You're not part of the case, Sem. No." You stand your ground. But your weakness, since you were kids, is his puppy dog pout, his black eyebrows contrasting his messy ash-colored hair, frowning until you give in.

"Ugh, fine!" You roll your eyes. "Don't look at me like that. You look pathetic."

Hidden underneath your underwear drawer is a secret compartment with investigation paperwork assigned to you.
