Date Night

I was rushing to finish my make-up when my phone rang. Must be Ian, he invited me for a date at the amusement park and I said yes. Nagwa'wonder nga ang mga friends ko kung bakit ba ako pumayag when Ian was a loner in our school. He gives off this scary, slightly creepy vibe kaya wala halos komportable when he's around. I said yes para naman magkaro'n siya ng friend and Ian's kinda cute.

"I'm almost done. Sa'n ka na?" I asked. I hear birds chirping over the line. Where is he?

"Paalis na ng trailer." he said in a low voice. Ah yes. He lives in a trailer around the forested area around the city, near our school. And he's alone. Isn't he scared?

"Sige magkita na lang tayo sa park ha?" I said and he agreed. I rushed downstairs to kiss my parents goodbye, pinahatid na lang ako sa driver sa park para hindi na magcommute. When I got there, wala pa si Ian. So I decided to walk around muna, hoping to bump into him or kung ano man pwedeng mabili, bibili ako.

Malapit na 'ko sa horror house when suddenly, I felt someone behind me, watching me. I turned around to see Ian standing with his hands on his pocket. Naka'black jacket with denim jeans and red sneakers. I smiled at him at tuluyan naglakad papunta sa kanya.

"Kanina ka pa?" I asked when I reached him.

"Hindi. Halos kadarating lang." This is actually the first time I'm hearing his voice like this. Calm naman pero medyo malalim. "Tara?" he offered.

We roamed around the amusement park, tumitingin ng mga rides na pwedeng sakyan or games. Marami rin kaming kakilala na iba ang tingin when they see me with Ian. Judgy eyes, I can tell. Maybe after tonight, I can prove everyone wrong and tell them that this guy is nicer than what most of the students at school thinks.

We played shooting balloons and sumakay sa ilang rides. I'm actually having fun! And Ian too, I can tell kasi he's laughing with me and he's really carrying our conversation really well.

"Last na, horror house?" he said. I don't like to go kasi it's scary! I'm scared. I paused before answering.

"What? Little miss Bianca is scared of the horror house?" He teased! Wiggling his eyebrows. I scoffed and hit his arm.

"Tara na! Ako na bibili ng ticket. Anong takot? Sinong takot?" Mayabang kong sabi but deep inside, my heart is sinking to my stomach. His laughs echoed though, okay tapangan ko na lang.

We entered the horror house and agad naman sumasalubong 'tong mga multo. I held Ian's hand as if my life depended on it. There are few people inside the house along with us, tulad ko nagsisisigaw din sila.

My heart was pounding inside my chest, the creepy sound, the dark house, the made-up ghosts. I don't like them! We took the other side of the horror house, kami lang dalawa.

"Ahhh!" I screamed when someone from the ceiling go down! Naiiyak na 'ko sa takot and Ian's enjoying it! A cold hand touched my hand and I screamed when I saw a bloody woman, kneeling beside me! She held my hand so tight that I cannot go run faster! Her eyes held her gaze, nakatingin lang sa akin!

"Let go of me! Let go! Ian!" I screamed for help, dahil nakita ko sa tulong ng konting liwanag, wala na si Ian sa tabi ko!

I ran when the bloody woman lost her balance and accidentally let go of me. I opened a door hoping it could be an exit. Hindi na ko makahinga sa kaba! I stopped in my tracks when a woman dressed up as a nun was quietly sitting with her rosary. She looked directly in my eyes and my heart stopped for a moment. Her face is white with a faint colored lips. She smiled at me!

Oh god I'm gonna pass out!

This isn't the amusement park anymore!

I tried running away from the nun but the door of the room closed with a bang! My whole body froze when I heard footsteps behind me. No! No!
