"Oh my sweet baby is leaving us!!" Cried my mother in tears. "Ugh Mom, you're embarrassing!" I shouted softly. She sniffs and wipes off her tears. "My dear Malinda, I'm very proud of you!" She hugs me tightly and starts tearing up again. "Mom, stop... I'm going to start crying." I whispered in her ear. She finally lets go of me when she hears the intercom saying "All passengers of flight 5 please come to the meeting area immediately".
"Well that's my time to go." My mother looks at me one more time and asks for one more hug. I squeeze her as hard as I can. "I love you Mom" I say tearing up in her arms. "I love you too baby."
We let go of each other's grasp, I take deep breaths and pick up my luggage. I walked to the register woman and gave in my passport, ID card, ect... And I finally walked on the plane and took my seat barely holding in tiny, excited squeals.
Paris dream... Here I come!
