📚 Criteria for Judging

— CRITERIA FOR JUDGING —

❍ We have 4 criteria that will be used in this book awards. One will be for novels, the second will be for short stories and one shots, the third will be for the poetry genre, and the last one will be for the mini awards.

— NOVELS —

• OUTER APPEARANCE - 10%
- Is the book cover catchy?
- Are the key points present in the blurb?
- Is the title connected to the story and its plot?

• CHARACTERS - 10%
- Are there any development in the characters?
- Will you be able to learn a lesson from them?

• DELIVERANCE/FLOW - 10%
- How did the author delivered the story? Are you satisfied with it?
- Is the flow of the story too fast, too slow, or just fine?

• PLOT - 20%
- Is the story plot interesting?
- Have you seen any plot holes? If yes, how do you think the author can improve it?

• HOOK - 10%
- Is the story remarkable to the reader?
- Do the scenes excite you to continue reading the story?

• GRAMMAR - 20%
- Are there any grammatical or typographical errors in the story?
- Are the punctuations used properly?
- How about the paragraphs? Are they too long, too short, or just right?

• ORIGINALITY - 10%
- Is the story unique? In what ways do you think so?

• WRITING STYLE - 10%
- Is the writing style of the author effective to catch the readers attention?

• TOTAL: 100%

— SHORT STORIES/ONE SHOTS —

• OUTER APPEARANCE - 10%
- Is the book cover catchy?
- Are the key points present in the blurb?
- Is the title connected to the story and its plot?

• PLOT - 20%
- Is the story plot interesting?
- Have you seen any plot holes? If yes, how do you think the author can improve it?

• HOOK - 15%
- Is the story remarkable to the reader?
- Do the scenes excite you to continue reading the story?

• DELIVERANCE/FLOW - 10%
- How did the author delivered the story? Are you satisfied with it?

— POETRY —

• OUTER APPEARANCE - 10%
- Is the book cover catchy?
- Are the key points present in the blurb?
- Is the title connected to the story and its plot?

• CREATIVITY - 20%
- Did the author become creative in writing the story?

• CONTENT - 25%
- Is the content clear or does it confuse its readers?

• ORIGINALITY - 15%
- Is the poem unique?

• CONSTRUCTION - 15%
- Are there typographical errors in the poem?

• IMPACT TO THE READER - 15%
- Does the poem marks upon the reader's mind?

TOTAL: 100%

— MINI AWARDS —

• CONTENT - 10 points
• HOOK - 5 points
• ABILITY TO CATCH ATTENTION - 5 points
