Bucky and Bristol were in his room making out in his bed. When there was a knock on his door.

"Whoa little brother, we have guests coming soon chill." Silas said 

Bucky wiped his mouth, "I don't care." He said 

"Buchanan.." Hudson said 

Bucky looked down, "You know what I'm going to go see if Gabriella and Skylar need my help." Bristol said 

"Baby no.." he said 

"Talk to them about your feelings." She said as she kissed him. 

"Guys he needs you." She whispered before joining Bucky's sister in laws. 

Hudson shut the door a little. "What is it?" Silas said

"I don't like this, mom hasn't been gone long and he's already seeing someone else." He said

"Little brother, I know that this isn't something that we expected. But mom would want dad to be happy." Hudson said 

"I thought he was happy." He said 

"I'm sure he is. But you don't think dad is lonely?" Silas said 

"How can he be lonely? He has me here, and you all bring the grandkids over all the time and granny and pops is right behind the house." He said 

"Okay let me rephrase that, I don't mean lonely like he has no family but lonely as in he has no one to grow old with. Besides you don't think dad has needs he's a man." Silas said 

"Gross! Silas that is gross! Why would you ever bring that up?" Bucky said as he hit him with a pillow. 

"I'm just saying yes this is unexpected, but dad is just trying to move on with his life. He grieved mom's death but now he's ready to start over again." Silas said 

"I don't like it." Bucky said 

James had been listening out in the hallway, he was wondering what was taken the boys so long. He knocked on the door and opened it. 

"Boys Tessa is almost here." James said 

Bucky walked out without looking at him, "Thank you boys. I over heard the whole thing." James said 

"We tried dad." Hudson said 

"He just needs time, out of the three of us." Silas said but James cut him off. 

"I know he was the biggest mama's boy." James said 

Tessa arrived with her three kids. 

"Everyone this is Dr Tessa Sawyer." James said 

"Nice to finally meet you. This is my son Ezekiel but we call him Zeke, my daughter Kamryn and my youngest baby is Brittney." Tessa said

"You already know my two oldest boys and their wives cause they work at the hospital too. This is my youngest son James Buchanan and his girlfriend Bristol." James said

"Hi nice to meet you." Bristol said 

Bucky stayed quiet, James whispered in Tessa's ear. "Don't take offense sweetheart he's just needs time to adjust. He was very attached to Winnie." 

Tessa smiled at him "I get it." She whispered 

They all went and had dinner, Bristol was all about getting to know Tessa to help Bucky understand.

"So how long have you two been seeing each other?" She said 

"About eight months." Tessa said 

Bristol felt Bucky squeeze her knee as he kept his head down and ate. After dinner they all continue to chat and get to know each other except Bucky. Eventually he got tired of all the good chatter and left to go to his bedroom. 

Bristol went after him and he laid on her chest as he cried and she played with his hair.
