Sometimes I used to wish that I got to willow first because if I had I'd probably be a better person and she'd be far away from the ticking time bomb that was Nate and Maddie.
I hated that she was used as a divider, and even if she couldn't see it I did and in my fucked up drug-induced mind I'd try to be there for her like she is for me because she meant a lot more to me than most people thought.

"You're being immature just get in" Maddy groaned staring at the curly-haired girl through the window, after she had dropped her friends off at the party she decided she'd kidnap willow who decided walking was the better option when she pulled up on her and rue earlier.
Willow scoffed bending down so she could talk to the girl through the window "so it's okay for you to be immature and ignore me for almost three days but because I don't want a ride from you I'm immature" Maddy knew she'd fucked up willow was an emotional person regardless of how she made others feel she still told the people she loved what she thought and how their actions always made her feel, it was Maddy's favorite quality of hers because it showed that under all that softness there was a mean hardass who didn't fuck around. It was honestly so fucking sexy.
But right now her girlfriend was being annoying.
"I mean you didn't ask me my opinion on anything you just argued with Nathaniel the whole night" "both of you ignored me and you made me feel like shit because you decided that I had to pick a side" she had been feeling the extreme division between them for a few weeks now and when she was forced to choose sides it ate her up inside making her feel like absolute shit whenever the other person would give her that look of betrayal when she didn't pick them, it was honestly a rough cycle to continuously go through.
But she always stayed and made sure they all came back together again like glue she'd mend the relationship and everything would be fine and dandy for a few weeks until it wasn't again.
