(This is a sequel of one of my chapters called -Happier-)

Nobody"s pov

Sam and Gibby had a booming business, they sold so much and made money.. even Principal Franklin approved of it, although Sam kept pausing everytime she just has flashes of moments of her and Freddie. She didn"t really want to see Carly and Freddie together since it would sort of hurt her.. but she wanted Freddie to be happy. Then.. Carly and Freddie walked downstairs in the basement, how ironic. Gibby greeted them, "Welcome! Table for tw-.. um.. let"s go to this table and chat since we already hired staff" he said, he cut off mid his sentence since he knew how Sam felt about Carly and Freddie and didn"t want to provoke her emotions. "Wow, you two pulled it off!" Carly exclaimed, "The question is.. is the food good?" Freddie asked, Gibby asked one of the staff to give them chilli cheese fries, "You have a menu too! How did you guys pull this off in one day?" Carly asked while looking around, "Easy, we made our food first. Took one of the stoves from the cafeteria and since Gibby is weirdly friends with the lunch ladies, they helped. We tidied up the place, I snuck out to buy some ingredients and stuff. We let Principal Franklin try our first batch of food and he approved of it, see, he"s right there. Anyways, Mr. howard and some of the other teachers don"t know, but some of the teachers we know and can trust is right there sitting beside Principal Franklin" Sam explained, their chili cheese fries were served. Carly and Freddie tried it, "This is so good! a-and spicy! I-I need water!" Carrly exclaimed, Sam ran to get iced tea to give to Carly, she drank it and the spice died down. "They might"ve added too much chili, or you"re just overdramatic" Gibby said, Sam tried it and she had a straight face, "Yeah they kind of added too much chili" she stated, "I"m good with spice but I know Carly is not so.. I"ll just get you a new one" she added while shrugging her shoulders and walks to the kitchen.

Sam also slightly used that as an excuse to calm herself down because she felt warm just looking at Freddie"s face, her body felt warm but her hands were cold. Meanwhile, back at the table.. "So.. are you two um.. dating?" Gibby asked them, Carly shook her head vigorously, Freddie chuckled nervously and shook his head. Gibby nods, he took a glance at the staircase and saw some more students come down, he went up to them and lead them to a table, Sam was at the register and started to ready some people"s bills. Carly and Freddie were just talking, their new chili cheese fries were given again by the waiter. "Why would Gibby ask if we were-.. ohhh" Carly"s breath hitched when she knew that Gibby also knew that Sam"s still hurting, she"s just hiding it so Freddie can be happy and to not be held back. "What do you mean "oh"?" Freddie asked, "Remember when you said "is it too late for you to love me?"" Carly recalled, Freddie nods "And remember yesterday that you were sleeping in Spencer and I"s apartment? Since your mom kept bugging you and you were tired?" Carly added, "Yes?" Freddie nods, "And you said that you sometimes sleep talk.. well.. I got a recording of you sleep talking.. and if you really "love" me, you wouldn"t have said what you said while sleep talking, plus.. you know what they say.. the times when you"re woozy from some laughing gas, asleep, drunk, or tired.. the truth comes out because you can"t control your emotions when you"re in a vulnerable place" Carly took out her earphones, plugged it in to her phone and listened to what Freddie said.

*Carly: Italic and bold, Freddie: Italic*

"S-Sam.. please, I-I love *murmurs* you. D-Don"t leave.. me.", "1 hour later" Carly said in her recording and recorded him again.. "T-Tell me w-what I *murmurs* did.. wrong?", "Freddie.. do you love Carly or Sam?", "S-Sam.. m-my S-Sam.. I-I miss her", "I-I"ll try *murmurs and groans* g-going back... to.. *yawns* C-Carly.. to.. c-cope"

"Your mind is saying Carly but your heart is saying Sam.. Don"t always listen to your mind because sometimes it plays tricks on you.. listen to your heart because you know what you really need and want" Carly said to Freddie, Freddie had flashes of his dream and his heart started pounding.. "S-She"s moved on.." Freddie said, Carly rolled her eyes and went to a recording called.. "Sam"s recording" and she played it.

*Sam: Italic, Carly: Bold and Italic*

"Well... you"re experiencing a hard breakup. It"s obvious you still have feelings for him, so why don"t you get back together?", they heard a door shut, it was the janitor"s closet door in the recording. "I can"t tell him.. he obviously likes you again, I mean he"s giving you lovesick eyes which I also loved whenever he looked at me that way, he would always blush whenever he"s with you, he"s asking for kisses on the cheek from you again.. like before.. and.. I-I heard him literally say "Is it too late for you to love me?" towards you.. face it Carls, he"s moved on and I haven"t. It"s best that I"m moving away after graduation, things will go smoothly for him again. All I want for him.. is to be happy. I love him but I don"t want him to feel like I"m holding him back on what he truly wants.."

"When did she tell you this?" Freddie asked, "This morning.." Carly implied. They looked at Sam at the counter, she was on her pearphone. "I mean look at it this way, ever since you broke up.. she has been a bit nicer, less aggressive, more distant and silent, and now she rarely smiles" Carly implied, Freddie felt hope in him. It was already the end of the day and people just decided to eat at "Gibby"s" that"s the name of the restaurant. "Go talk to her.. you never know when to talk until it"s too late" Carly said, "Plus, I forgot to tell you... um Brad and I are actually.. dating.." she added, "Well that explains why Brad keeps asking about you" Freddie said, the two chuckled a bit. Freddie nods, he grabs Carly"s phone and earphones and went up to Sam, "Hey, can we talk.. in private?" he asked, Sam"s breathing was heavy.. she nods. Freddie lead her to the place they had their kiss during the lock-in. "If this is about you still feeling awkward about asking Carly out, I can hook you up with he-" Sam get"s cut off by Freddie putting his hands on her waist, she went tense and she has goosebumps.. "W-What are you doing?" she asked, "Sam... listen to this recording please.." Freddie asked while giving her Carly"s phone with earphones, Sam put the earphones on.. she listened to Freddie"s recording.. throughout the recording, Sam shed a tear.. when the recording ended, she looked at Freddie "Please tell me.. t-that.. this recording isn"t a lie" she murmured, Freddie was taken aback by Sam"s tears. "If I lied.. I wouldn"t do this" Freddie cupped her cheeks and leaned in to kiss her, Sam had tears streaming down her face when she felt his lips touch hers, she missed this.. she missed him. Freddie put his hands on her waist and pulled her closer, Sam relaxed in the kiss and kissed back.. she wrapped her arms around his neck. About 25 seconds later.. they pull away, Freddie wiped her tears away with his thumb "I"m sorry that I let you go the first time.. but that won"t happen again, I won"t let you go, even after graduation.. I will stay by your side" he smiled, Sam furrowed her brows.. she was sad yet relieved "B-But I"m moving to L.A, California after graduation.." she said, "I still haven"t applied to a university Sam.. I bet any part of L.A has a suitable university for me" Freddie smiled. "S-So this whole.. Carly thing was-" Sam was cut off, "an act, a way to cope. I thought you moved on and I couldn"t" Freddie finished her sentence.

Sam kissed him again, she smiled in the kiss.. they pull away after 10 seconds "I missed you" Sam implied, "Me too" Freddie replied. Sam went to freshen up her face and met up with Carly again to give her back her phone and earphones, "So... do we have a couple?" she asked, Sam and Freddie smiled at each other then looked back at Carly "We sure do.." Sam nods. Everyone already left so it was just Gibby, Sam, Carly, and Freddie. Sam felt Freddie lift her chin up to kiss her, she kissed back and the two pulled away after 5 seconds, "As much as I love that you two are back together, get a room please" Carly joked, Sam and Freddie laughed.
