I've been chasing daydreams my whole life. I've mapped out in perfect detail the man who'd sweep me off my feet and when.
He was a no show; Has been for years. I began to compromise the things I wanted and needed from relationships. So caught up in the notion that if I didn't find my forever person something was wrong with me.
I spend time trying to force puzzle pieces and spend more time falling apart when they break.
It's easy to find yourself stuck in an endless pattern of try and fail. A definition of insanity is repeating the same actions while expecting different results.
Life is not an experiment; I am not a lab rat. However, I am willing to play the devil's advocate. Let's eliminate "try" and replace it with "wait".
How easy can "try and fail" become "wait and see"?
