"How else can we cure hiccups?" said Patty.
The girls thought about it for a minute.
"I know! I once heard that taking a bath could get rid of hiccups. But only if the water is just right. Not too hot and not too cold" said Cathy.
"Well, you wanna take a bath, Wiggles?" said Patty.
"Anything to get rid of our... hiccups" said Greg.
"Alright-o!" Patty squealed.
The team entered the Wiggles' bathroom.
The Wiggles put on bathing suits as Cathy turned on the water.
Jeff hopped in the tub, but then jumped out with a shiver.
"What's wrong, Jeff?" said Patty.
"The water is... too cold" Jeff hiccuped.
"Oh my" said Cathy.
She added warmer water to heat the water.
"Well, how will we know when the water is just right?" Murray hiccuped.
"Hey, Cath. Why don't we use that spare thermometer the Wiggles gave us" said Patty.
"Splendid idea" said Cathy.
As she took out the thermometer, Patty looked at it confusedly.
"Wiggles, this thermometer is kinda kooky. There are no numbers" she said.
"Well, don't worry, Patty. It's a Wiggle... thermometer. The colors determine... the temperature" Greg explained.
"Oh, yeah" said Patty.
She turned to you and said "We need to make the water's temperature just right".
"Yes. Now. When the temperature goes down into the blue area, that means the water is too cold" said Cathy.
"When it goes up into the red area, it means the water is too hot" Patty added.
"But when the temperature goes into the green area, that means the water is just right" said Cathy.
She dipped it into the water.
"Whoa-oh! The temperature is down in the blue area. Is the water too hot or too cold?" said Patty.
The girls let you answer.
"Right. Too cold" said Patty.
"To warm it up, do we add cold water or hot water?" said Cathy.
They let you answer.
"Hot water. That's right" said Cathy.
Patty turned on hot water.
"When the temperature goes into the green area, say 'just right'." she said.
The line on the thermometer rose into the green area.
"We did it! The temperature is just right" said Cathy.
Greg, Murray and Jeff got into the just right water and relaxed.
