AN: The song in this is "Deja Vu" by Oliva Rodrigo but I changed the word actress to singer

Dear Journal,
Hey, it's Alex, I decided I would start this songbook thing to help put my emotions out since I don't like talking about my feelings. Anyway, I decided to write this song because I saw them at the spot that was supposed to be mine and his. He took her to our spot, how could he do that to me. That was mine and his special spot back in the 90s we made so many special memories there. Well anyway, here's the song. It's called Deja Vu

Car rides to Malibu
Strawberry ice cream
One spoon for two
And trading jackets
Laughing 'bout how small it looks on you
(Ha-ha-ha-ha, ha-ha-ha-ha, ha-ha-ha-ha)
Watching reruns of Glee
Being annoying
Singing in harmony
I bet she's bragging
To all her friends, saying you're so unique, hmm

So when you gonna tell her
That we did that, too?
She thinks it's special
But it's all reused
That was our place, I found it first
I made the jokes you tell to her when she's with you

Do you get déjà vu when she's with you?
Do you get déjà vu? (Ah), hmm
Do you get déjà vu, huh?

Do you call her
Almost say my name?
'Cause let's be honest
We kinda do sound the same
Another singer
I hate to think that I was just your type

I'll bet that she knows Billy Joel
'Cause you played her "Uptown Girl"
You're singing it together
Now I bet you even tell her
How you love her
In between the chorus and the verse (ooh) (I love you)

So when you gonna tell her
That we did that, too?
She thinks it's special
But it's all reused
That was the show we talked about
Played you the song she's singing now when she's with you

Do you get déjà vu when she's with you?
Do you get déjà vu? Oh
Do you get déjà vu?

Strawberry ice cream in Malibu
Don't act like we didn't do that shit, too
You're trading jackets like we used to do
(Yeah, everything is all reused)
Play her piano, but she doesn't know (oh, oh)
That I was the one who taught you Billy Joel (oh)
A different girl now, but there's nothing new
(I know you get déjà vu)

Well there it is, it's the first song I wrote, I'm not very good at it but anyways, thats it. I just wanted to put my emotions about how I was feeling into this song. Well, I'll write another one soon, whenever I need to I guess

Love Alex

"Awww, poor Alex! I wonder who he's talking about, do you know?" Julie questioned

"No, why would I?" Luke asked

"Well you are his best friend," Julie said simply

"Right, well I don't know," Luke said a bit annoyed

"Okay, sorry, well should we read the next song?" Julie asked

"Maybe tomorrow," Luke said and got up

"Okay?" Julie answered confused

Luke poofed out of Julie's room not really knowing how he felt

He saw Alex so he went up to Alex and grabbed his hand and poofed them somewhere private

"Dude, what the hell?!" Alex said annoyed

"Well, sorry! But I need to talk to you," Luke said even more annoyed

"What is it?" Alex said now concerned

"I-I'm sorry," Luke apologized

"For what?" Alex said confused

"For what I did, in the 90s"

"Luke-" Alex started

"No, let me finish, what I did was wrong, I'm really sorry Alex," Luke said disapointed in himself

"It's fin-," Alex tried

"No, don't say it's fine cause it's not, I can't beleive you ever forgave me for what I did," Luke said softly

Alex took Luke's hand in his

"Luke, don't be sorry, okay? I forgive you, I forgave you the moment I saw you after it happened, I could never hate you Luke," Alex said softly and then let go of his hand

Luke smiled softly and Alex smiled back

"C-can I hug you, I know your not big on hugs bu-," Luke cute Alex off by pulling him into a big hug

They just stood there for a few moments with their arms wrapped around the other

"Thank you," Alex said as he pulled away

"No, thank you," Luke smiled

They just stared into each others eyes for at least a minute until Alex looked away

"Well, lets go back to the garage, its getting late," Luke said softly

"Yea..yea,let's go," Alex agreed

They poofed back into the studio and saw Reggie and Julie sitting on the couch together

"Hey," Alex and Luke said

"Heyyy," Reggie and Julie said

"Let's watch a movie!" Reggie said

They all laughed but Alex and Luke sat down on the couch. Julie on one end of Reggie, Alex on the other side of Reggie and Luke on the other side of Alex.

"Can we watch Tangled? That was always my favourite movie," Alex said

"Yea, of course," Julie replied and put on the movie

During the movie Julie got tired so she decided to go up to her room and sleep and Reggie fell asleep on the couch so it was basically just Alex and Luke left.

"Luke," Alex said

"Yea," Luke questioned

Alex got up and pulled Luke up too

"Remember in the 90s how when Bobby was on a date with a girl and Reggie was at home so it was just me and you here," Alex asked

"Yea, yea, I remember, why?" Luke asked

Alex went up to the loft and Luke followed

"It was late and we were up here trying to get some sleep," Alex said as he laid down on the matress that was up there

"Alex, whats going on?" Luke asked as he laid down beside Alex

"Shh, let me talk," Alex said as he covered them with blankets

"I was really cold even though there were a lot of blankets so you held me close and kept me warm," Alex kept talking as he scooted closer to Luke

"and from that moment on I knew that you would always keep me safe," Alex said softly as he cuddled up to Luke and closed his eyes

"Alex, are you feeling okay?" Luke asked as he wrapped his arms around Alex

"Yea, I just need this right now, I'm cold and you feel warm," Alex said softly as he started to drift off

Luke smiled "Okay, goodnight Alex,"

"Goodnight Luke," Was the last thing Alex said before falling asleep

Luke smiled and then joined Alex with sleep
