Chapter IV

Earlier the next day, everything has back to normal as Karylle was released from the hospital, people then started on having different commotions outside the Viceral's building. They want to see their lovely Karylle healthy and safe again.

Along the commotions happening outside, the inside part of the building was also now having a commotion because it is the inauguration day of their new president or C.E.O. Everyone was too busy preparing the venue and everything that is needed. Some of the celebrities are also invited. Everyone seemed so thrilled knowing the identity of their new President would be revealed soon.

Vice saw himself walking on a dark street.

He saw this place before, he was once here. He thought!

He could see nothing but himself.

He was too uncertain of what's happening, pero may pumasok sa isipan niya na alam niyang sigurado.

He saw someone crying, someone who is now hiding behind the tree.

He came closer...

"Sir Vice...sir Vice... Sir...!" Gising ni Mr. Khu Lim kay Vice while slightly shaking Vice's shoulder. Vice who was in his deep dreams, all of a sudden woke up.

"Nanaginip ulit kayo sir? Ano pong laman ng panaginip niyo?" The old man who knows Vice's situation asked. He was worried because he knew that his dreams are not just a normal dream.

"Di masiyadong klaro..." Vice said, looking so confused he stood up and took a glass of water.

"Kanina ka pa dito?" he asked to the old man.

"Hindi naman po masiyado. When I saw your office empty, I decided to come here. Bat po ba kayo dito sa sofa natulog?" The old man noticed that Vice did not even change his clothes since it was the clothes that he was wearing since last night bago niya ito iniwan sa opisina.

"Tumawag si mama kagabi dahil may importante daw siyang sasabihin. When I reached home, she was not alone at all. She was with someone." Napangiwi si Vice ng maalala ang nangyari kagabi. Mr. Khu Lim who could guess the situation just painted a smile on his face.

"You know my mother is too aggressive right?" Tumango lang ang matanda. "I was totally exhausted arguing with her that she should not do those kinds of things because I can't even take touching a girl." He said, explaining what happened last night. "So, medyo late na ng makauwi ako, di ko na nagawang magbihis at nakatulog na nga ako sa sofa." He added. Habang nakikinig ang matanda sa ganap ni Vice kagabi, napaisip ito at napatango na para bang may ibang konklusyon sa nangyari.

"By the way is everything ready for tonight?" He asked, changing the topic.

"Ay, kaya ko nga po kayo hinahanap dahil gusto naming icheck niyo na po if okay na. Bilin mo kasi kahapon na sabihan ka pag natapos na yung preperasyon. Kakatapos lang nila bago ako nagpunta dito sir." Mr. Khu Lim said. Vice just nodded.

"Okay, then. Just wait for me there. I'll be there in 30 minutes." Tsaka pumasok na sa kwarto niya para iprepare ang kaniyang sarili.

"KARYLLE ANNE PADILLA- TATLONGHARI" Pasigaw na tawag ni Manager Boo kay Karylle na kasalukuyang nakanganga kaharap ang salamin. Di pa din natitinag si Karylle, kahit pauli- ulit na siyang tinatawag ni Manager Boo.
