Link and Zelda rode off through the fields of Hyrule fields, swerving past the Riverside Stable and passing through the looming duo mountains of the Dueling Peaks.
They had to stop multiple times to tend to Link's wound, which kept breaking open. That made Purah get way ahead of them.
Finally, after a couple hours of tedious travel, they had arrived in front of the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab. Opening the doors, Link and Zelda found researchers scrambling over the place, making tweaks on strange looking devices or looking through books for information. Link noticed a small door on the far left of the lab that had a strange blue light emanting through it.
Curious, Link started to walk to the door, only to stumble on a huge pile of books, crashing on the ground in a great flurry of paper.
"I'm not here for a couple of seconds, and you are already smashing up my lab?" said the squeaky voice of Purah as she walked through the mysterious door. Zelda giggled as she saw Link frail around in the pile of books now strewn across the floor. A couple of researchers looked at him annoyingly.
"Cmon, stop making a scene and hop to it Linky!!" she said annoyingly, before walking off into the strange room again.
Grumbling, Link got off the dusty wooden floor of the Lab, and motioned for Zelda to follow.
Walking into the strange room, they could see Purah adjusting certain funcations on a huge guidance stone that was glowing a dull grey color. Standing on a stool, Purah inserted a screw along with a shaft into the guidance stone and it lit up with a brilliant blue raidiance.
"Click Snap!" Purah exclaimed, "Get over here Linky, I want to test this out!"
Mumbling cohesively, he walked to the guide stone, Zelda trailing behind.
Suddenly, Zelda's eyes lit up and said: "Purah, what is that?," she said while pointing at a small black machine with red and blue sides.
Purah smiled: "Ah, This is the Nintendo Switch."
"The Nintendo what?" both Link and Zelda said simultaneously
"The Nintendo Switch," Purah replied, and then walked right off and slided the red side of it clean off!
Zelda looked panic stricken, "Purah, that was an important piece of ancient technology, why did you have to break it?!"
"CHILLAX Princess, it's meant to be a like that."
Purah grinned as she placed the small half moon shaped items in Link's hands.
"I want you to press both SL and SR buttons at the same time Link" Purah said calmly.
"The what now?" Link said, genuinely confused.
"The two small buttons at the top of the Joy-Con"
"-Wait why can't I take try? I've been studying Sheikah Tech for years-"
"You'll see princess."
Link looked at Purah, then at Zelda, who was still sulking slightly, and pressed tightly on the two buttons. Just like that, in a bright flash of sheikah light, he was gone.
Not a single trace was left that the Hylian Champion had ever entered the lab.
