April 10, 2021. It had been nearly exactly two months since Donald, Kingsley, Forrest, Jake, Jimmy, and Wolf had arrived in Alice's world. It's been two months and they still had no leads on how to return.

Forrest had been drafted into the basketball team and became an official member. He had his first game and Crossroads High School won.

Jake had joined the school's anime and manga club. There, he and several other students bonded over their love for anime and the tragic deaths that often took place.

Jimmy had gotten a membership at a nearby gym and had taken up boxing. He wanted to improve his self so he could beat Ben Park the next time they encountered each other.

Wolf wanted to continue living as his old ways and bully and beat up the other students, but Donald was adamant against garnering negative attention. He tried to get the other students to avoid him by glaring and continuing to give off an intimidating aura. Despite this, he got dragged into a gaming club. Even more surprising, Wolf enjoyed hanging out in the club. Whenever he defeated his opponents, he enjoyed hearing their frustrated cries and shouts of anger, panic, and sadness.

Donald had finally mastered the basic of baking bread without burning it to a crisp or destroying bread pans. The taste was decent, but not anything special.

Kingsley had continued hanging out with Alice. Whenever they weren't busy with practicing for the festival, the two enjoyed their time together. Most of the times it was something simple such as reading next to each other, which both of them were fine with.

It was rather strange. While they attended Crossroads High School, it was as if they were normal teenagers living a normal life. Bullying wasn't as big a problem in Crossroads as it was in Yeo-Il, Daehyeon, Ganghak, Hyeongshin, and Yoosun so the Union executives never once had to fight another student. The normalcy was...refreshing.

"You know," Jake told his brother and friends over a video call. "Sometimes I wonder, if I hadn't joined the Union, would this be how we'd be living?"

"Jake..."

"Everything seems so...normal. We're from an entire different world, one that's considered fictional, yet the six of us are able to seamlessly blend in with the rest of the crowd. We're the typical teenagers living average lives,"

"Jake, I'm sorry," Kenny apologized. "It's my fault—"

"No, it isn't!" Jake snapped. "Stop blaming yourself, Kenny. I chose to get revenge, even though I knew that you wouldn't want me to,"

"Still..."

"And, I'd probably end up joining the Union one way or another. I don't think Donald would've let someone strong like me go unchecked in his territory. The only reason he hadn't forcibly recruited Ben Park is because Donald already nearly killed him which is enough to instill fear so he won't interfere with the Union. There isn't really much to gain from a shitty school like Eunjang either way,"

"Do you know how much longer you'll be in Alice's world?" Robin asked.

"No," Forrest shook his head. "Donald went back to investigate the playground we suddenly appeared in but found nothing out of the ordinaire. You guys went to Yeouido and said the meeting room was normal too,"

"What if you're trapped there forever?" Grape was extremely worried.

"I want to remain optimistic and hope that we'll figure out a way home soon,"

"I've improved a lot, Jack," Jimmy flexed his biceps in front of his phone. "The next time I see Ben Park, I'll pulverize him!"

"Yeah," Jack nodded. "You're the one who will soon rule Yeongdeungpo,"

Jimmy's expression changed from prideful and boastful to saddened. "I miss you,"

"I miss you too,"

Three days later, it was Tuesday, April 13, 2021. It was also Wolf's birthday.

"My birthday already passed in our world," Wolf claimed.

"Since it's your birthday in this world," Alice asked. "Does this mean you're technically eighteen? Or are you still seventeen like in the Webtoon?"

"I don't care," Wolf deadpanned. "I don't celebrate my birthday,"

Kingsley was feeling mischievous. "Let's celebrate Wolf's birthday,"

"I agree," Alice smiled.

"Then just get me some cigarettes and booze," Wolf said.

"Reginald wouldn't allow that," Alice shook her head.

"Then I don't give a fuck," Wolf headed out the door to head to school.

"Do you really plan on celebrating Wolf's birthday?" Forrest inquired.

"Yeah," Kingsley and Alice answered at the same time. "We've already informed the staff to prepare to surprise him when we get home from school this afternoon,"

"You two are being quite the mischievous duo," Donald commented.

"I thought we were going to practice for the festival afterschool?" Wolf asked.

"I decided to be slightly generous today since it's your birthday," Donald replied. "We'll go straight home instead,"

"Did you guys plan a surprise birthday party even though I don't want to celebrate my birthday?" Wolf deadpanned. "I'm going to hang out with the gaming club instead,"

"Nope," Donald grabbed Wolf and dragged him along. Donald only went along with the birthday celebration because he wanted chocolate cake.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY WOLF!" Alice and her staff members, as well as Jake, all shouted when Wolf entered the mansion. Confetti and streamers filled the air and landed on Wolf's head.

"I told you that I don't celebrate my birthday—"

"What a shame then," Alice shook her head with disappointment. "I custom ordered a piñata for you,"

The piñata hanging in the middle of the living room was a life-size version of Sam Lee. Jake filmed Wolf as he grabbed the baseball bat and began hitting the piñata. Even after all the candy had spilled out, Wolf still continued attacking Piñata Grape and tore him to pieces. Only once the piñata was no longer recognizable was Wolf finally satisfied.

"It seems that Wolf has anger issues," Reginald commented. "Might I suggest therapy?"

"They all need therapy, Reginald," Alice said. "They just don't want to attend sessions or think they don't need it,"

When it was time for cake, everyone sang happy birthday. After Wolf blew out the candles, Jimmy attempted to slam Wolf's face into the cake. However, Donald had expected this and pulled the cake out of the way in time. Hey, he didn't want to waste perfectly good chocolate cake.

Wolf's head hit the table and blood began to drip down. It wasn't enough to knock him out and Wolf lunged at Jimmy. The two began to fight but Donald didn't stop them since Jimmy deserved it for trying to ruin the cake.
