You and Me, Forever Intertwined

    Chifuyu kept running until he ran face first into one of the walls of the building.

    "OW!", he cried out, before laughing again.

    Baji burst out laughing as he came to a stop next to the false blonde.

    "Are you okay?", he asked as he continued to laugh.

   He looked up at Baji, holding his nose.

    "I'll be fine, it's just a little nose bleed."

    Baji helped Chifuyu stand up, still laughing.

    "Come on, lets go clean that up."

    Chifuyu nodded as he walked to the stairs and walked up to his floor with Baji following behind him.

    Chifuyu unlocked the door to his apartment.

    "MOM! Are ya home?? I brought a friend over!!"

    Baji laughed following behind Chifuyu.

    "I wonder how she'll react."

    "Same, I bet she'll be thrilled." He chuckled as he heard footsteps walk towards the room. "Hide!" He whispered to Baji, aiming to surprise his mother with his best friend's return.

    Baji smiled and hid waiting for the signal to come out.

    Chifuyu's mother entered the room with a smile on her face, thinking that her son had finally moved past his grief.

    "That's wonderful hon- where is this friend of yours?" She tilted her head in confusion.

    Chifuyu gave a mischievous smile, "Oh, he's around, you just gotta know where to look." He then gave a small whistle as the signal for Baji to show himself.

    Baji jumped out of his hiding spot with a wide from on his face.

    "Hello."

    Chifuyu's mother seemed surprised at the sudden appearance, her face full of shock.

    Chifuyu gave a laugh as he hugged Baji, looking at his mother with light amusement on his face

    "Are you okay mom? You look like you've seena ghost!", he teased.

    Baji laughed at the shocked look on Chifuyu's mom's face.

    Chifuyu's mother scooped both her son and his best friend into a loving hug.

    "How is this possible! Chifuyu came home in tears when he told me you had passed away in a tragic accident!"

    Baji hugged Chifuyu's mom back.

    "I ended up in the hospital and was in a coma for two years, and now I know that everyone thought me dead, yet here I am, very much alive.", he said answering her question.

    "I'm so sorry you had to go through that hon, I can't imagine how lonely it must have felt not having anyone there to visit you." She had a gentle tone as she cupped the boy's face. "At least they kept you alive and healthy, you look like you haven't aged a single day over the last two years." She gave a kind smile as she spoke.

    "Really?" Baji smiled, he had always liked how nice Chifuyu's mom was, and seems as if she never changed.

    "Thanks." Baji's smile grew bigger.

    Chifuyu's mother gave them both a kiss on the head.

    "Don't let me keep you boys for too long, I'm sure you'd rather be doing something much more fun right now~", she giggled.
