But it answered that's impossible to
So I asked the moon a favor
And it answered I found him by the shore
I smiled at the moon when I saw you
It smiled back and lighted us two
It gave us a momentary chill
Confessing what we truly feel
He looked at the moon
I didn't know he asked its permission
I smiled thinking he will hold on
And for good
he left with a perforce reason
