Dwayne POV
After I finished changing out of my hockey gear, I walked out of the locker room to find Y/n sitting outside waiting for me.
"Hey" I said, looking down at her. "Hi" she said softly, standing up. She looked nervous.
"You alright?" I asked, grabbing her hands. She nodded.
"He cheated on me.." she said, hesitantly. "Who did?" I asked. "Scooter..he cheated on me the day I moved in with you" she confessed.
I noticed tears welling up in her eyes so I hugged her. She hugged back almost immediately.
She sighed.
"Wanna go get some food?" I asked. She nodded into my shoulder.
I placed my hat on her head and intertwined our fingers.
She smiled up at me.
Gosh that smile..it could kill a defenseless man in a second..
