"I look stupid." I grumble under my breath, staring at myself in the mirror.
"Oh shush, I did a great job. You freaked out for now reason, the best barber job you've ever gotten." Aviva replies holding onto my shoulders and admiring her handy-work.
To be honest, she did a decent job, no bald spots or anything. At least now my hair is out of my face.
"Yeah, yeah." I wave off, "thank you anyway."
She rolls her eyes and kisses my cheek, "you're welcome darling." She then picks up her phone and checks the time. "Do you think I could move in here for a bit. Just until the end of the school year?" She asks.
"Sure, it'll be fun to room together." I reply.
She looks to me in shock as if I'd ever say no. "What?" I ask, laughing. She shakes her head and wraps her arms around me in a hug.
"Remember when we couldn't stand each other?" She whispers, it seems so long ago. But now it's almost the end of the school year, so much has happened since then.
"I would say I couldn't stand you." I trail off.
Aviva hums completely unconvinced. "Yeah right. I bet losing against me must've hurt your ego."
"Nah, like I told you. There's no one else I'd be happy with taking my spot. You're my favourite person after all." I reply.
She smiles, staring up at me. "I'll never get tired of hearing that."
"What? That you're my favourite person?"
Her smile grows wider. Dimples begin to pop out and I realise that there's nothing in the world that makes me happier than seeing it. Damn, I'm obsessed with her.
"I have to do a speech for the freshman this afternoon so I'll be back later today." She says.
I nod my head that is resting on top of hers and bring her over to the front door.
"Go practice your speech, I'll see you when you get back." I kiss her forehead and open the door.
"Are you kicking me out or something?"
"Nope, but we don't want you to be late, do we?" I reply with a smirk. Knowing I've won this time, she waves goodbye at Lucy and leaves.
Once she's far enough down the hallway, I close the door and text the others, to come up with a little plan.

"I look stupid." Marcel says. I literally said that this morning. Right now we're disguising ourselves as freshmen so we can cheer Jones on in her speech.
"Marcel, this is for Avi. But we're seriously too tall to be freshmen." Bruno states, trying to mess up his hair.
"It's not as if we have to wear moustaches and stuff. A little makeup will do just fine." This comes from Stella.
"You're already the shortest one here girl, you still look like you're in high school." Joyce laughs, placing a wig on her head.
Stella scoffs, "Jealous of my amazing genetics, love. I can't say I blame you."
Joyce rolls her eyes with a smile and pats more powder on Marcel's face making him splutter.
"How are we even going to get in? It's going to be so obvious - we look ridiculous." Marcel says. We all look down at our outfits and realise that he's right.
Bruno throws an arm around Marcel and my shoulder, huddling us in. "It'll be a fun experience though. One for the books. Plus it's for Avi, imagine the look on her face when she sees all our support especially from her academic rival / roommate / boyfriend. Damn, what a story, I'd pay to read that."
