Yugyeom's pov:

"ALL OF YOU ARE WORTHLESS!!!" I shouted throwing a vase

"It's not our fault if the princess receive her true form,"Jihyo huff, rolling her eyes

"Everything was working until she change," San huffed

"We could have hit them harder if we knew she was changing to her true form," Hwasa huff, playing with her

Ugh...this idiots. Why did I even recruit them.

"What do you have to say, mark? You were with her,. You had one job to make sure she doesn't unlock her true form" I glare at him

I could see him viciously shaking. Did I hit a soft spot?

"SHUT IT, YUGYEOM. I HAD ENNOUGH OF YOUR STUPID PLANS THAT NEVER WORK. MUM AND DAD REALLY DID PICK THE WRONG KING. I'M DOING THINGS MY WAY. If you all want to stay and listen to yugyeom, go ahead or else join me," He huff, marching out

Soon enough twice, ateez and the rest of my brothers left the room. I look at mamamoo and blackpink who was just chilling out. I quirk my eyebrow at them.

"What? You think we would go with them. All of us promised loyalty to you. Not mark. What's the plan, big guy?" Rose ask me

"Go to the infirmary and get yourself healed. Come back here at midnight. We have much to discuss," I said, leaving them

I head over to the old family room. I stare at the once happy family portrait before things went bad. I sigh and walk over to the nearby window. What will happen if dad had chosen jinyoung or even mark instead of me? Heck, even bambam would have been better at it. I'm hopeless.

"You're not hopeless. Little brother. You still have time to make a difference. My daughter could help you," I hear a familiar voice said from behind me

"Jinyoung?" I called out, looking everywhere

"You can't see me but you can hear me. I know that being a leader of the shadows is not something that you wanted. I know you wanted to marry a villager girl and live a normal life. What had changed? Was it dad or was it the fact that you're hatred runs deeper than that?" I hear jinyoung say

"I can't say. I have to make dad proud. It's my destiny," I said, firmly

"If you say so. It's not too late to rewrite your destiny. You know where to find her if you ever need a second chance," Jinyoung said

"Hyung, are you still here?" I called out after a while

He must have left. He's right though. This was never what I wanted but dad saw potential in me. Maybe there's still time for me to get the second chance. I stare out the window and into the forest of the seven. She must be in there.

(By the way, were you surprised that the actual enemy that is going to turn good is yugyeom. I have feeling some of you expected Mark but nope. It was yugyeom all along. Let me know how many off you had guessed it.)

Mark's pov:

I had enough of him. Always making more and more plans but ended up failing. I'm going to do something that should have been done from the beginning.

"What's your plan, wise leader?" Jeongyeon ask

"Glad, you ask. We're going to ask hades for help. We had done it once for the parents and we can do it again to the siblings," I said

"Wasn't there a price to pay the last time you guys ask for him," Nayeon said

"There was. Our father and mother was the sacrifice," Bambam said, sadly

"So a life for a life. That make sense," Yeo-sang said, nodding

"Exactly. However, I want to see if the terms had changed since he's daughter and son over took hades,"I said, heading for the door to the underworld

"He has a child?!? And there's two of them" Dahyun said, shock

"Why is that surprising? He does have wife so of course, he's going to have children," Youngjae points out

"Yeah but we didn't expect a child to be born. What's their name anyway?" Yunho ask

"Macaria and Zagreus," I said

"Why are going for them and not the father?" Hong Joong ask

"Hades had retired after our parents seek for his help," I said

Soon we arrive at the door. I turn to face everyone.

"I'm going in. Everyone else stay here and make sure yugyeom does not find out what we are doing," I said, turning back

"Mind explaining why you don't want yugyeom to find out," Mina wonders

"He disagree in seeking help from the underworld. There's always a price to pay for everything. Dad told us never seek their help unless it is the last resort," JB said

"A last resort. Interesting so we're going to use the last resort to get back at the princess and her dumb brothers?!?!" Lisa exclaim

"Yes," I said, turning back to them again

"Right, you guys are insane. I'm going to go join mamamoo and blackpink," Chaeyoung huff, leaving

"Anyone else is leaving," I quirk my eyebrow

"If our sister is leaving so are we. We are not leaving our sister alone. Also, I rather not have my other sisters to be sacrifices if needed to be," Jihyo huff, pushing her sisters out

"Ateez?" I turn to them

"We're staying for the long run," Hong Joong smirk followed by the rest

"Excellent," I said, entering

~Over at the underworld~

Hades' pov:

"Remember children. Whatever mark offered, say no to his proposal. The shadow knights are meant to fall this time around. Zeus is already in favour with the princess and princes. If we came in-between, that's it for the underworld." I told my children

"Of course, father," My children said, bowing

I left my children to the throne. I may be retired but that does not mean I don't know what is going on in the world.

"Had you done it, brother?" I hear zeus ask me

"Yes, you have nothing to worry about. My children will listen to what I say for sure," I said, rolling my eyes

"They better," With that he left

I sat at my throne and look into the crystal ball. I shall make sure that the princess and princes win this war. What? You think we would favour the shadow knights. Not anymore. After figuring out what had happened, we are no longer helping them. Let's hope everything goes according to plan.
