After the checkup with Shinobu, us two and Mitsuri sat together and ate the mochi

"These are my favourites!!!"

Mitsuri said, which somehow pulled a string made me feel like I've heard of it some where else

We only ate a few since lunch is coming soon

"Let's go to the Hashira Courtyard together, it's about lunch time"

Shinobu reminded, as the three of us went out of the Butterfly Estate, walking to the Hashira Courtyards since it is not very far, beside we want to continue the intriguing conversation as well

When we entered the Hashira Courtyard, I immediately see, through the window, that the Water Hashira sitting in the library, with a book in hand as he flipped a page

"Guys I'll see you later, need to talk to Giyu quickly"

I told the girls before we parted ways, them two headed to the dining room as I went straight inside the library

"Hey Giyu"

I greeted as soon as I entered the library, no one else is here apart from the two of us

"What do you want to talk about?"

He asked, getting straight to the point, closing the book that he is reading

"You how I spent the whole day with Obanai yesterday?"

I directly answered his question, the two of us like to have conversations that can be easily understood, rather than having to indicate things

"Mhm"

He nodded, as I took a seat opposite the table that he is at

"I had a few memory glitches"

"What do you mean?"

"This happened 3 times yesterday when some kind of memory just flashed in front of my eyes, it's definitely my memory but I don't recall any of them, so I suspect it's pieces from what I've forgotten"

I paused a bit, finding the best way of phrasing this before looking into the ocean blue eyes of the pillar

"All of these scenes that I saw was to do with Obanai, and whenever I see those memories, an unexplainable pain shrikes me, as if...as if someone cut my heart open and sliced it into pieces, it hurts"

"Not to mention whenever I'm around him, although my heart feels happy but something in my brain keep telling me to stay away from him"

Even though Giyu is not a person who shows great deal of emotions, but shock is visible from him, just a little bit

"So Giyu, can you tell me who was Obanai to me? Who was he to me before I forgot about everything"

From his expression, I can tell he is hesitating

"Honestly I think you would much rather to remember it on your own than me telling you"

Giyu replied, attempting to convince me otherwise

"Please tell me Giyu, I can't wait that long, I need to know who was he to me, I need to know what happened between us because I think I am..."

I stopped half way through me sentence, not sure if I should continue

"Because you think you are?"

Looking away from his piercing eyes, I took a deep breath before making eye contact with him again

"Because I think I am developing love interests with him"

Pronouncing every single word clearly, the dark blue orbs of the Water Hashira can only widen in surprise
